During springtime, many galaxies are at their highest throughout the night due to the Earth’s location around the sun and axis tilt throughout the season. Patrons got a little look at the first few wallpaper designs earlier today so I thought I would share some here too. I started out only knowing what color I wanted to use this month - Mild Cyan from @zebrapen_usa - and came up with a theme from there. Space and stars seemed like something fairly simple, but cute, and it's so relaxing to draw these decorations and wallpapers. I had a great time getting started on these last night, and am excited to work on them a bit more today. Layered necklace in (oxidized) silver, (oxidized) copper and gold. It is inspired by the Nebra sky disc, an enigmatic artefact from the Bronze Age discovered in Germany. The disc is the earliest known example of astronomy in Europe and maybe the whole World. Recognizable are the crescent moon, the Pleiades sign among other stars and what is probably a "sun boat". In European Bronze Age it is believed the sun was carried across the sky by a boat from dawn to dusk. One has to wonder what it's purpose was...
