Happy Tuesday friends! Wanted to share a little good news , our home has been featured in a magazine! Yay. Traum Wohnen has included our home in their fall 2023 issue. 🧡🧡🧡. There is something very sureal about the whole thing, and sometimes it’s hard for me to believe let alone pat myself on the back at times. But, I will say it’s a strange feeling knowing that it’s out there for the world to see. 🧡☺️🤣 It’s a bit scary to put yourself out there. I have always been a creative, always and sharing our less than perfect home is my absolute pleasure. Happy Wednesday friends! Hope the day treated you well. I do get this question on the daily….. “What is your wall color ???.” Well, when we started to redo our living room, there was hunter green background, floral wallpaper! And the trim probably had 20 years worth of paint built up on are very beautiful moldings, my favorite part of this house. Now, I must give credit where credit is due my husband, Carl he was the one who did all of the stripping of the wallpaper and the paint on the moldings. It took a good nine months to complete that task if not longer!! big shout out to my husband!! Looking for a paint color was my job!! the color on our living room walls is “Pale Oak” by Benjamin Moore!! I do get asked on a daily basis almost so I thought I’d share in a reel! But I thought it was soooo very easy to do, that I just would explain it! Go grab some easy dry craft clay, I used the Crayola brand. I worked on a cookie sheet, added a little bit of water to the clay, to make it more pliable, shaped in the cute little ghost, and use a wooden shish kebab skewer to make the eyes and mouth! I picked these beautiful golden apples joann_stores this weekend, they are such a beautiful golden yellow color. I had to figure out something to use them for! Hello friends! As we transition into the fall season, I was definitely craving change in our 1835 home. Making a few simple changes with ballarddesigns has totally transformed this small space into something beautiful.🧡 I started with the timeless and classic Janelle Upholstered Chair and its clean look has changed this small space. I think they add a very classic touch to our home. We changed the feel of the space with added texture and warmth in the form of new lampshades! I used the beautiful Scallop Seagrass Lampshade on one of my blue and white bases, I love the look of all the texture it gives! We also added the Leighton Pleated Lampshade in stone.🧡🧡🧡 I finished my living room with the beautiful, multipurpose Dorchester Bench and added some personality with my favorite design books on top! What I already have, I have so much decor I need to really scale down. This one anybody can do I used a garden urn, some of my smaller wreaths, and added a pumpkin on top. Oh, and some more bitter, sweet berries I have been putting them everywhere.🧡🧡🧡 just wanted to let you know that you don’t have to buy new decor every season you just need to think outside of the box and let your imagination run . 🧡🧡🧡 so just take a look around you and try to put a twist on it. Hello friends! As we transition into the fall season, I was definitely craving change in our 1835 home. Making a few simple changes with ballarddesigns has totally transformed this small space into something beautiful.🧡 I started with the timeless and classic Janelle Upholstered Chair and its clean look has changed this small space. I think they add a very classic touch to our home. We changed the feel of the space with added texture and warmth in the form of new lampshades! I used the beautiful Scallop Seagrass Lampshade on one of my blue and white bases, I love the look of all the texture it gives! We also added the Leighton Pleated Lampshade in stone.🧡🧡🧡 I finished my living room with the beautiful, multipurpose Dorchester Bench and added some personality with my favorite design books on top!
