So, I had a couple of hours in between doctor appointments and had set plans to grab lunch at the Panera across the street from the medical building. Upon walking in, the line was insane and barely any place to sit and get some work done. I look out the window and notice a quaint little coffee shop on the other side of the intersection so I decided to check it out and support a small business if I could. Best decision I made!!! This cuban coffee shop is a hidden gem! With merengue and tango playing in the background and everything, I received phenomenal customer service from Susana and the Tripleta sandwich and tostones were to die for! And of course I had a to get a café con leche to keep up with a day of errands. If you’re ever in the area, make sure to stop by, even for a pastry and coffee. I promise, you won’t regret it!

Trying Moroccan cuisine with a friend of mine, and although hummus may not be a true Moroccan dish, Merguez does serve up an amazing one! Their “Kefta Tagine” was great too! Ground meatballs in a tomato-garlice sauce and 2 eggs, served with a side of Moroccan bread. 🧆🍅🧄Hearty and delicious! If you’re looking for great Moroccan cuisine, look no further! 🇲🇦

Found out that @americansocial recently changed up their menu, and although I’m really upset the artichoke dip is no longer served with pita, I was pleasantly surprised to see and try their new additions such as a the “Loaded Guacamole” served with seasoned chips. As a huge fan of Rocco’s Tacos for their zesty tortilla chips, I’m so happy American Social added them to their menu, too! The guacamole was delicious and full of contrast in flavors and textures. I especially love the queso fresco on top! 🥑 Make sure to stop by American Social and give these a try! 🇺🇸 . . What do you like adding to your guacamole? ✨

Had the opportunity to finally try @jujubysusuru and it was well worth the wait! Just like @susuruorl their sister restaurant is a unique experience on its own! They both share a handful of the same menu items, like the Susuru Shashu Gohan, which is my FAVORITE, but JUJU offers a colorful selection of raw items instead of ramen bowls. I was thoroughly impressed. 🍱 I was hoping to snag a Godzilla cocktail at JUJU, but unfortunately it’s a Susuru exclusive. I did, however, get the Juju Old Fashioned and it was sooo good!🥃 I loved JUJU, but Susuru and its Tori Taipan will always have a special place in my heart. 🤤
