I spent way too many years hating my face, hating I was made and looking for others to confirm my beauty..... But after learning to do this easy makeup and highlighting what makes me beautiful....well....its a game changer!!! I'm not trying to look like everyone else, I'm trying (and succeeding) to just be the best me. Doing my makeup makes me feel better...it pulls my up out of my funk. If you want to call that superficial...that's fine! I call it celebrating me and taking care of me. Because here's the thing...it's so easy to get lost in kids activities and work and parent stuff and meanwhile not be able to shake that dark cloud that likes to hang above our heads! So I popped on some legit good music, grabbed a drink, and decided to just get er done. There is a reason I don’t share dancing reels… I am not a dancer, or a singer, or a pro at makeup do-er 😂 What I am is an average momma who just wants to look and feel good. And I want to enjoy the process! Just because we aren’t good at something doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do it. Sing to your music, dance in your bedroom, and put on your makeup! You’ll give yourself a chuckle and by the end feel happy and pretty 🫶
A makeup routine that is easy and fast enough that even on the busiest days you can still go in looking your best! How I wish I had found this makeup sooner. I struggled for so long feel crummy about my appearance. Stuck in postpartum depression and anxiety. Hating my body and my face. Wondering if I would ever feel like me again. Would I ever look in the mirror and be happy with what I saw??? I felt so hopeless. And I sank in every area of my life. This makeup didn’t fix all these thoughts, it didn’t cure my depression and anxiety, it didn’t make me love myself or make myself a priority. But I did notice the days I got ready I felt better… not great… but better. Fast forward 5 years and here I am! In love with the woman I’ve become both internally and externally. Sure I still don’t love everything about my appearance (hello acne and loose skin) but I look at myself with love! And I can recognize that this makeup was the tool I needed to start the journey to loving myself and enjoying the process! Chances are I’m not the only makeup/beauty person you follow on social media. Chances are I’m not only the only Seint artist you follow. So chances are you are seeing lots of posts, reels, and stories about the Seint Artist Program. I know I have talked about it and I will continue to share about it because simply put… I love it and I thank my Father in Heaven daily for the opportunity I have within Seint. With that being said… When you see all the posts, stories, and reels about the program and the thought occurs to you that just maybe you’d like to become an artist too I want you to think of a few things. 1. The thought crossed your mind for a reason. Things are placed in our lives for a reason and no matter how big or small there is purpose in that thought. 2. Aligning yourself with a company and a person is a big deal. Make sure you align with someone who’s message you connect with and who has the ability to help you. That is not always the person who has the biggest following or most visible success. Sometimes it is but sometimes it’s the person who has a bit more time to pour into you too. 3. You will never know if you can do it unless you try. You never know the impact you can have on others. You never know the impact you can have on yourself. And you never know what you can achieve if you never try. It is scary trying something new. It is intimidating showing up in a new way. But if it’s crossed your mind chances there is a reason. I am hoping to connect with 3 - 5 new artists this month that are ready to try. That’s it. Just be ready to give it a go and see what happens.
