1958 Mexican Spec Ford Fairlane 2 Door Hardtop - 30917F Hello friends. This is a gorgeous car ready for your garage. It might not fit because of the Continental kit, but it is still gorgeous. This 1958 Ford Fairlane 2 door hardtop has had a few modifications to make it a better driving car. The first is a 302 V8 under the hood. It is a more modern engine and parts are easy to find. The second is the disc brakes up front. A big complaint with these old cars is the stopping power. This one has been fixed. The car comes with its 66 year old original invoice so you can see its whole history from day one. The transmission is an automatic with over drive so highway cruising is effortless. Wide white wall tires completes the luxury look of this car. The asking price on this car is less than the work that was done to it, by a long way. I know the 1958 model isn't the most popular. It was the one year Ford didn't use round tail lights and people think it gave the 1958 models bad luck, but it is still a gorgeous car. 1957 Mexican Spec Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner - 30813P Gorgeous, right? What we have here is a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner. The Sunliner designation indicates the car is a soft top convertible. The Skyliner was the hard top convertible. Under the hood is a 292 V8 with an automatic. The car has a completely new interior brought over from the US. The only thing needed is a new carpet kit. Out back is a long Continental Kit. You don't see those on new cars. 77,726 of these were made which is a shocking number. People were riding high in 1956/1957 and a lot of people wanted to live the good life. For the first time since 1935 Ford outsold the Chevrolet this year. All attention is on the Tri-Five Chevrolets, but there were more of these from the start. The asking on this is 1/3 of what a Chevrolet would go for in this condition. This car is a bargain. 1957 Mexican Spec Ford Sunliner - 30619H A restored Ford Sunliner - Gorgeous. Now that word restored means different things to different people. What is your definition of the word? This is a V8 automatic car. The two tone blue looks great on this car along with the gold anodized trim. The stock 1957 wheel covers are in place. I like to see cars stock like this more so that with huge clown wheels. I will admit the interior has a lot of blue. While the fender skirts were not a factory item, they were a day 2 addition back in the day. This looks to be a very solid example of this car. 1956 Mexican Spec Ford Fairlane 2 Door Sedan - 30326S This was Ford's competition for the 1956 Chevy. I think they lost. It is said this car was completely restored. Please look at the car and tell me if you think it has been restored, or simply refurbished. The car has been off the road for many a year. The plate that is on it have been outdated for a couple of decades now. Under the hood is a V8 and, oddly enough, it is a column shifted automatic. The red and white work well together on this body style. The diamond plate at the bottom of the doors on the inside I don't think was from the factory. The attention to detail is not a Mexican's strong suit. This car needs some clean up work to make it look really nice. I would, for sure, put some white walls on this. It looks like they put on whatever tire was laying around. The interior was done well and the lines line up nicely. Calling this car restored rubs me the wrong way. I admit it was a lot of work, what work they did, but their lack of attention to detail did not turn out a very nice product. I am supposed to be trying to get you interested in buying this car. 1957 Mexican Spec Ford Courier I know I have posted quite a few wagons lately but I had to post this one. This is a 1957 Ford Courier. This was the panel wagon for deliveries Ford made that year. Under the hood is a 292 V8 and it is a 3 speed on the tree. I wouldn't call this a restored car as it still needs work. The seller wants a lot more for the car than it is worth considering the work it needs however it is a very rare model. This one has been painted with a Coca-Cola script. This being a 2 door panel wagon makes it the coolest 1957 Ford wagon out there. I wish I had more pictures of this but I don't. Tell me what you think of this car. 1959 US Spec Ford Sunliner Here we have a Sunliner that crossed the border at some point in its life. This car is said to be original with some rare options. The continental kit and the mirror with the spot lights are those rare options. Power windows were not a common option on any 1959 car, but this one has them. I am not sure that is a good thing though. It is a beautiful color combination. That light blue goes very well with the white paint and top. What little we can see of the upholstery looks original as well. There is an interesting positioning of the gear shift lever and that would have to be cleared up with the seller. 1959 Mexican Spec Custom 300 Again we have a base model car but with some chrome trim. This was the entry level model for Ford, the Custom 300. You can see it does have the chrome trim on the rear quarter panels. Under the hood is a V8, but I am not sure which one Mexico was using that year. You have to shift with a three on the tree. The outside of the car with the mint green and white paint looks really nice. The interior is where it starts to let you down, however, it is an easy fix to paint the dash and do the interior how you want it or put it back to original. It is cute the owner got a little pedal car painted the same color to go with his car. The front turn signals are not original. They are sold everywhere including on our Ebay type site so there is no excuse to use what he found from another vehicle. Over all I think this would stump people at the car shows. It is a base model but it has the chrome trim. People would ask you all the time whit it is. You can guide them to the speedometer and tell them the car is not from there.
