The 5th (of 5) NEW CANS this week is a continuation of our experimental hazy series that does not have lactose. Available now at the Tap Room: • VOIID-03 - Experimental Imperial IPA Our Head Brewer Russ (and our customers) have been very pleased with the first two batches of VOIID; his experimental IPA series that allows him to make significant changes to the recipe from batch to batch. Like the other two in the series, this one will not have any Lactose, and will benefit from Brewers Crystals versus Dextrose. In this particular batch, Russ continues to focus on lightening up the overall color of the malt body, yet still keeping a consistent Hazy appearance. Today we canned a fresh batch of our ever-popular Oat Cream IPA... • ANNIHILATION- Hazy Oat Cream IPA We did an extremely small batch of of one of our oat cream hazy IPA. Brewed with nearly 50% oats between three types of oats and a healthy addition of spelt, this brew present a near-white + opaque hazy with a fluffy lasting head the leaves amazing lacing. Aroma is tropical with notes of papaya + stone fruit mixing with floral + pine. Flavors are a tropical fruit blast mixed in with piney hops + minimal bitterness. Dangerously crushable as the ABV is well masked behind the full bodied finish. So, for our 10-Year Anniversary, we decided to make a special version of EBK to celebrate. No serious changes to recipe, but we did go with a more robust (aka expensive) hop profile than we normally do. In our opinion (which is biased of course) we think everyday is a great day to visit the Tap Room. We still have a small amount our homage to all things TRANSFORMERS named: • Operation Warfare: Subversion - Hazy DIPA If you know anything about Adroit Theory it's that we love comic books, sci-fi, 80s nostalgia, and of course all things metal. So, it's know surprise that we made a 4-part series inspired by 1980's Transformers with a serious nod towards Gundam. The first release in the series is an homage to Starscream; everyone's favorite DECEPTICON. This one features a creamy texture, mild bitterness, and a full body. Blending hops from New Zealand and the Pacific Northwest combines fruit-forward notes of Tropical Lime, Pineapple, and Grapefruit with aromas of freshly crushed pine needles with subtle spice.
