Spent a day visiting our wholesale partner and friends @fuelcoffeeworks in Farmington, PA, about 45 mins outside Pittsburgh. We’ve had the pleasure of roasting for them for 5 going on 6 years. It’s vibrant local cafes like @fuelcoffeeworks that contribute to making a small mountain town feel special. Always a pleasure Fuel team, thanks for the hospitality and the years of partnership! Historic National Road Sunday Funday with my MIL in town ☀️☀️ ☕️Pour over coffees from @fuelcoffeeworks 🐴Fort Necessity National Battlefield - beautiful visitor center, adorable playground, (mud free 👍), hiking trails 🍷Wine tastings at @cwkwinery on the @lhpourtour. A glass of the Lavendar Mist has me marking my calendar for the Lavendar Festival in June! We love having visitors and showing them around our area!
One of our favorite local parks just got a little better. 🥏We noticed a 9 hole disc golf course in the works at Wharton Twp Recreational Park in Farmington, PA. Link is here also: https://adventureswithkelly.com/2020/11/23/ruth-eberly-walking-nature-trails/ At one week postpartum, this park checked a lot of boxes for me today. ☕️Close to great coffee - Sleep deprived mommy and daddy enjoyed a pick-me-up from @fuelcoffeeworks. 🥾Short hiking trails - I love the adorable short trail system where my older two kids can hike independently. 🚶♀️Walking loop - I’m taking it easy but at the same time up for walking so it was nice to get some steps in. 🛝 Great playground for the kids. 🥾FYI - I hid a geocache here, a quick and easy find (info on my website post) The newborn phase can be challenging. But, today I am thankful for unseasonably warm weather, time spent in nature with my family, great coffee, and for my husband’s employer who understands the importance of paternity leave.

Who doesn’t love a cute little quaint coffee shop??! I don’t even drink coffee but I do!🙋♀️. And I love this place! It’s my go to! I look forward to stopping here everyday, and getting my white chocolate mocha before going to the farm! I may grab a few baked goods too! Believe it or not this coffee shop used to be an old gas station. I’m so glad that instead of abandoning it or tearing it down, that someone decided to remodel and turn it into something that brings people so much comfort! And that’s what it does for me. Brings me comfort! And that’s the biggest reason why I want to open up my own cafe and coffee shop one day here in our farm.
