My wIzaRdinG h💙aRt beats strongly in a galaxy far, far away and despite sensing it was coming in Rise of Skywalker, it still felt like the first time acknowledging the loss of our Princess. The indelible mark of great stories can feel very real when you give yourself over unconditionally. I was an 7 months old when my mom took me to the theatre to see A New Hope and subsequently, each of the trilogy movies afterward. My hubs and I were living in Germany when we took our youngest to see Phantom Menace when he was 2 and we've seen every SW film together in the theatre since. Same goes for the Potter/FB films and LotR/Hobbit and MCU.... I've cried countless times when a loss of a beloved character happens but it felt very different this time.
