It's been a minute! Sharing a few more of my favorites from this beautiful beach maternity session and these cotton candy skies! ๐๐โ๏ธ It's been pretty silent over here while I still work behind scenes editing, booking sessions, and working on other parts of my business! I'll admit, too, as a photographer having that gap of not photographing sessions for about 5 months during "dead season"/those colder months can really put a damper on you and your enthusiasm so I can't wait to photograph sessions again to bring back that drive in me and photographing sessions! ๐ท A few little updates: โจ๏ธI have hit my 5 year anniversary since starting Aubrey Joy Photography on the 7th of this month!! ๐ I had planned to run a 24-hour flash sale in honor of my 5 year anniversary in business, but due to sick littles, it has put me behind by a couple of days! I am thinking of running my sale starting tomorrow! ๐ท โจ๏ธ I had a doctor appointment last week Friday and found out my celiac disease has gotten worse, so I'm still trying to navigate this new way of life and cutting out all of my favorite things to better my health which has been SO HARD! ๐ซ โจ๏ธ I'm hoping we are nearing the end of these sicknesses with our kiddos! Man, when they get sick, I have to give my full undivided attention, and then other things lack, and this mama is TIRED ๐ตโ๐ซ Currently my 5 year old is dealing with a double ear infection that stemmed from his upper respiratory cold, 2 weeks before that he had strep twice and supposed pneumonia, my daughter has had her 2 bouts of pneumonia a month back to back between March and April with the flu in between that and strep as well! Hoping as this weather warms up continuous, their sicknesses lessen! ๐ค๐ป โจ๏ธ I have a fun surprise session this weekend I get to capture and I can't wait to share that! Happy Thursday! Have to make a post about my girl Ruby!! This is the sweetest cow my mom has ever had !! Iโve never really been around any of the farm animals just because itโs scary to me. Some of them have been mean in the past. The cows are also super big and can hurt me a lot if they wanted to. Ruby on the other hand has been the sweetest girl. Sheโs super friendly , she is so interested in phones and shoes. Sheโs very nosy when sheโs comfortable with you. Sometimes too comfortable, the other day she stepped on my foot to get closer to me โฆ.. even though she is a baby, that was the worst pain ever. The girls were so cold outside during prom pictures but I had to make sure they took pics with my girl ,Ruby !! If you are interested in pictures with cows I would definitely suggest my momโs farm. Happy birthday to my sissy !!! I spent the last two days baking a cake from scratch and Iโm super excited to try it tonight !! Hayden wanted a vanilla bean cake with cream cheese frosting and last night I ate probably 2 cups worth of icing because it was so good ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ. I still have yet to figure out some techniques with cake decorating, but this is my 3rd cake ever that Iโve made completely from scratch so itโs not a huge deal. Happy Wednesday, friends! โค๏ธ Little fun fact! My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on the 8th ๐น๐ It is still crazy to me how we have now hit a decade of marriage! A little peek into our memories. Sharing a few of our beautiful memories together from previous years from one of our wedding photos, our first year anniversary photo, pregnancy announcement, newborn photos from 2 of our boys, and our 5 year anniversary photo from our cold beach session in March! As you can see as well, even before being a photographer, I got EVERY SINGLE MOMENT documented! Get the photos captured, you guys!!! Because in the end, photos are all we have to look back on! I cherish every single one of these photos!
