Super proud of herself on this mornings walk in the sunshine. ☀️ No pulling, no lunging at other dogs or people. Was kept on the extended lead as it was really busy. Mum & dad are super proud this morning. We did lots of stopping & starting. Went passed a few dogs-didn’t bark. Our local park had 4 football matches going on with lots of distractions. This weekend wasn't the greatest but we are so happy things are finally turning a corner! I woke up to blood all over the house. It was on the bed sheets, the carpet, the tile and it was very scary because I had no idea where it came from. I soon figured out it was Bane and he had blood matted into his fur onto his tail bone. Bane wouldnt let me touch the wound and just kept crying. So after frantically calling Patrick to come home from work and getting an emergency appointment at the vet, we found out he had a cyst rupture (the size of a baseball). We are so grateful he didn't need surgery and that this growth was just a cyst. They drained as much as they could and he is now on antibiotics twice a day for the next week to help kill the bacteria from within. He is eating, playing and being his normal self! We just have to monitor his licking to the wound and making sure it's clean.
