What's the biggest opposition or adversity in my life right now? 2. 2. How do I best stand up to it? My biggest oppisition or adversity is The Joy of the future, or in this case being spoiled for choice, as usual. I have so many options and none are inherently bad. I'm, just bad at choosing; at making a decision. I freeze and then life moves on and the universe decides for me, which I never like. I can best stand up to this with The elven Knight. Here's another junk journal spread from July. This one was for the meditation I did with the Heart of Faerie Oracle card, the Hope. Swipe to see the card. I really liked the whole light in the darkness look for the card and that's came up in my meditations. So I reflected that in the page with the yellow ink on the dark blue paper. That's why you can't see the writing well. ๐ฆ Another thing that came up was fae or natural energies don't just manifest in nature. Cities have natural energies of their own. Even in the dirty corners and shady alleys. So I used some washi tape to create a tip in of leaves that when pulled back reveal a cityscape. So my post for Day 11 of the #geekpridechallenge by @faerali did not go up yesterday so here it is. We are now looking at video games. And quick note, this prompt was based on the only geek culture thing I had not at least heard of in this challenge. I am completely clueless about Portal. Okay so moving on.โ โ ๐ซโ โ The Cake is a lie. As a player in Portal, you are guided through a scientific research facility by a computer named GlaDOS and asked to perform various tasks. GlaDOS continuously promises you cake at the end of the experiment, but as you progress it becomes increasingly suspicious that the research lab has no intent on letting you leave at all.โ โ ๐ฅ๏ธโ โ Card 1: What ways do you need to stop wasting your time and energy (for there is no 'cake' at the end of this path)? โ Card 2: What will put you on a path to ward your highest good (better chance of cake)?โ When I pulled Bright Spark, as what I'm wasting time and energy on, I was perplexed. Not so much when, I pulled the Star Faerie as the path to my highest good. Just looking at them next to each other. Its like why waste time being this small when you can be this big. Stop focusing on the little things and look at the bigger picture. Super Mario Bros - Mystery Box? โ โ Spread throughout the Mushroom Kingdom are Mystery Boxes with goods and gifts that will help Mario and Luigi on their quest.โ โ ๐ฆโ โ 1. What gifts are being given to you by the universe to aid you in your current quest for adventure? 2. Where can you find these mystery boxes from the universe?โ โ โโ โ Well, I pulled the Lady of the Forest, Oh No! and the Queen of the Day as my gifts from the universe. Representing feminine energy (dreams, intuition creativity and imagination), the unexpected or things not going the way I imagined as well as blessings beauty and grace. If I tie this to my adventure card from day 10, it works nicely. A journey through faery to gain wisdom would benefit from these gifts. And I can find them with the Captive Man apparently. I'll have to think about that more.โ โ ๐ซโ So I took an unexpected break from IG but not from this and one other divination challenge. I am back now though so I've scheduled the posts for the reading I did. I also plan to share a flip through of my divination journal with since I did some fun doodles during this challenge. I find this one interesting as it really highlights the connections between fiction and real life. The prompts are based on geek culture which is based on real life. Adventure Time stars fiery Finn, the human, a happy and confident boy with strong morals, and laid back Jake the Dog who counsels Finn when he needs it. Draw at least 1 card to symbolize an adventure that calls you. Draw a 2nd card to symbolize a companion or source of wisdom during your adventure. ๐ก This was very confusing for me. For my adventure I drew the Gift. It implies wisdom gathered from traveling or from your adventures. So I guess the journey to getting that wisdom is the adventure. Because of course nothing from faery is ever straight forward this makes perfect sense. My companion or source of wisdom card is the Lady of Unicorns. Myth and magic are definitely appropriate companions and resources when traveling on an adventure. Not an inherently shadowy card but I think it speaks to my need to be better or the best at certain things. I'm not going to know everything and I won't be on top most of life. I will be duped and will put myself into untenable situations due to wanting to know too much. So, I recently did a new type of video over on youtube. Link in my bio. It was virtual response to @thestorywitch tag #decksfordecades. Jessica created this tag so her fellow readers could pick out a deck that they feel represents each decade of the life they've lived so far. ๐ Pictured are of course my decks. I picked the #deviantmoontarot for my 1st decade or so, the #llewellyntarot, which you've been seeing a lot of lately here, for my 2nd decade of life. And finally, I chose both the #heartoffaeriesoracle and the #faeriesoracle decks for my most recent decade of life.
