Hello 46! The Earth Mother gifted me some more mushrooms in the enchanted grove this morning for my birthday - don't they look magickal in the early morning sun? I've been feeling a call to go deep with the Earth Mother for the past 2 weeks. Work and family commitments haven't really allowed me to...but I think this week I might be able to honour that. Rooted 3/6 — Ancestors I was on a cross-country bus in México when I started to notice my great grandmother’s presence around me. Perhaps it was all the prayers for the uncertainty of why I was adamant about the trip. I was lucky enough to know her before she passed. And after because my grandmother expressed her love often. Her husband died before the war and she carried five children through it, including a nine year old who would eventually live a life that raised me. I feel her strength and her joy. I chant na’an familia-ku in some meditations, a prayer that was gifted to me in another. Na’an-ta opens a sacral force that moves without time. Finding connection in the reflection of who they might have been and who we are together.. When I breathe, I feel the potency of their choices. A ripple of their creating the new earth I stand in today and have the privilege to continue toward. I release the weight of ‘finite’ in my making. Rather, I receive that my making makes fertile ground of coming iterations. Our connection roots me in the work I’m called to do. Our kinship is sacred. Demons. You know why they're exciting? Because it's taboo magick. Energy. Unknown. Demons are just angels who delivered a message you didn't like. To paraphrase a dear teacher and give some credit though I may completely butcher the concept. Basically, both are magical messengers...but what makes one good and one bad? The message. Magick. Energy. Unseen forces. Beautiful things. Taboo things. Things that remind humans there is more to be seen than what is right in front of us. I'm in Santorini, Pyrgos specifically, surrounded by cats. I've seen six so far this morning. Orange tabbies. Black and white lovely things. Torties. Some friendly, some not. They remind me of my lifetime in Egypt. Of course, they come back to me on this trip. The one where I further cement in calling myself a Healer of Healers and mean it too. I work with heart centered marketing, sacred sales and soul aligned business. So that you can make more impact, and income, while using your divine intuition and deepening the intimacy you have with your clients, work and loves. It's embodied magick. It is ceremony. It is ritual. Magic in motion, through human meanderings, is ritual and ceremony. To be human is to make meaning from things. That we can choose to make a yoga postures - something a body can move into, with intention and breath - a demonic thing, is a wildly fascinating option. That you can choose to see selling ONE thing at ONE high ticket as an anomaly and not the norm, is wild. And hey, me too 🙂 I've done that too. But, what if the meaning we assign is the only one it has? What if we choose angel instead of demon? What if we choose that demons and angels are both delicious and divine and an amazing entity and experience as a human embodied? I sold it once, more are coming. Naked talk - The word "P.us.sy" has been used so heavily in slang, derogatory and less than mentalities and talks that often when we hear this word we shy away, we screech, we discust, we laugh, we get embarrassed, we look down upon and so on... This word is used to degrade, to shame, to be seen as weak and less than... while in fact, P.ussy is the exact opposite. P.ussy is Goddess. Why is it that the very thing that actually births humanity on Earth has been dressed up to act as a shameful and silly nickname of sorts or as a weak insult? Why is that? In fact - every single thing that comes from P.u.ssy has been shamed, hidden, cast out, made to feel embarrassed by and ignored and turned into a robotic machine... menstration, arousal, labour, birth, org,asm... Why is it that the most powerful source on the planet has been rehearsed and imprinted in us to make us feel dirty, shameful, guilty, cursed etc..? Because...P.u.ssy is THAT f.ucking powerful. Here's a soul portrait I finished yesterday! This beautiful soul has strong Sirian and Egyptian connections. Let me tell you...this portrait took a lot of trust in the process. Upon first putting the dolphin on the canvas, it looked like a lima bean lol. But from what I've been learning with painting, it's really important to remember that the beginning of the process is completely different from the end. It will always look a bit weird at first.... because it's not done yet...duh! Lol. This is especially true when using acrylic. You basically have to build your painting, adding several layers of paint until you get the look you're going for. I did a good job staying calm though lol. I didn't freak out. I just chilled and said, "You know what? We'll work it out." And I did. I want you all to understand how much goes into these paintings I create. It takes a lot of time to create, but also takes time for me to fully come back into my body and center afterwards. There's essentially a recovery period. But I love to paint. I enjoy it and I love being able to put your lovely energies on canvas. Keep your eyes peeled. Soon I will be raising the prices of these soul portraits...and for a very good reason. Over the last few weeks I’ve been circling around the alchemy spot of a deep recurring theme for me. Overcompensation. When I fear being out of integrity I have a tendency to swing to the other end of the pendulum by stopping the power flow entirely. I’ve wondered why it’s been so challenging for me to let go. Seidr is the visionary practice of cracking open the egg (literally & metaphorically), which symbolizes the infinite potential in life, in order to read the snapshot of the divine plan — to shape the future and participate in our creation of reality. As Alana Fairchild writes, the practice could be used for higher purpose, dedicating our soul talents to overcoming hate, judgement and divisiveness, OR for personal gain. There’s beauty here - the authenticity of wanting to be in right relationship to power There’s shadow tendency - fear of doing it inadequately, the perfectionist’s clamp on creativity, harboring the guilt of mis-using power in the past and using it as an excuse to protect the fragility of the self saboteur Alana continues.. We may want the best for all beings but we cannot know why their path is unfolding as it is or what their soul needs to learn. And there it is. The alchemy spot. I couldn’t access insight on what my soul wanted to learn from this. I had been focusing on mastering my grip on the power throttle instead of the love of learning to swing on the divine playground and teaching from the wisdom of it. That’s why birthing the Mistressmind was so ecstatic yet messy. I am practicing being the spiritual birthmother and founding father of the creations through my channel. I am learning. The divine child is playing. Why was I trying to extract more from them? That’s why the creation came out a little disjointed. Who is this for? What is it really? I didn’t know. But it seemed to know what it was doing, calling in the right women, guiding me to take action which bred clarity. So fitting that this teaching is aligned with the Volva / womb emptying on my monthly bleed. Death to overcompensation and birth to… I don’t know yet.
