It looks like the temp isn’t going to drop below 40 for the next week, so I’m going to take a chance and sow some flower seeds in our flower garden. . I’ve got some Rudbeckia, Sunflowers, Verbena, Gilia Globe, Blue Balloon Flowers, and Calendula. . I’m also hoping the Cosmos, Mums, Black Eyed Susan, and Goldilocks Rudbeckia have succeeded in self-sowing themselves. We will see, I suppose! . We had our first hard frost the other day here on the homestead. I thought for sure that it would finish off the flowers and herbs that were still hanging on to life. . I was wrong! I decided to sow some Morning Glory seeds in an old birdcage I’ve had for a while. They were older seeds that I’ve had for a few years, so I sowed extra in case of a low germination rate. .
