Huge thanks to all the SOSKELY volunteers for giving it their all and sweating it out 💦, making sure the parties are still enjoyable without the need for alcohol. 💃 You guys rock! 👏 And a special shoutout to all our buddies who showed up to support us on the spot 😎. This year, a total of 79 awesome peeps from the KELY team and SOSKELY volunteers joined the HK7s! Despite the scorching hot weather 🥵️, everyone pulled together and distributed a total of 1,550 liters of water and 2,500 giveaways. Our alcohol-free chill out zone served as a relaxing space for 315 young people as well. As for Creamfields, with the help of 84 members from the KELY team and SOSKELY volunteers, we distributed a total of 6,671 liters of water, delivered 3,775 giveaways, and welcomed 560 young people to our alcohol-free chill out zone. Once again, a massive shoutout and heartfelt thanks to all the SOSKELY supporters out there. 運動表現物理治療的物理治療師在 #欖球 🏉賽季中，為香港足球會欖球隊及九龍欖球總會定期提供駐場物理治療。 駐場物理治療與診所的工作分別很大：比賽前的職責主要是提供貼紥、按摩和伸展；在比賽進行中，物理治療師則要處理急性創傷、割傷、頭頸創傷，並要判斷受傷的球員是否適合繼續比賽。 我們部份的物理治療師皆已受訓，可施行心肺復甦法及使用自動體外心臟去顫器及已成功取得英格蘭欖球聯會的場邊創傷急救證書，是英國最高級欖球賽的醫療人員必須取得的資歷。這課程包括高階生命支援，為懷疑受傷的頸部進行脊椎護理，以及以有系統的方法來管理急性創傷。 Sportsperformance physiotherapy’s physiotherapists provide regular on-field cover for HK Scottish Rugby Football Club and Kowloon RFC during the rugby season. On-field physiotherapy is very different to working in the clinic; before games the emphasis is on strapping, massage and stretching, during games the physiotherapist manages acute trauma, cuts, head and neck injuries and has to make decisions as to whether a player is fit to continue playing. A number of our physiotherapists are trained in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), the use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and have successfully completed the England RFU Pitchside Trauma Immediate Care course, a prerequisite for medical professionals working at the highest level of rugby in England. Great memories from winning at the ‘88 @hksevens. What I loved most about those days was that as players we actually sat and interacted with the crowd and joined in the singing. One year we had “The Proclaimers” performing the legendary song “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles”) which became a crowd favourite and continues today. This is the “last harah” at the original stadium which holds so many fantastic memories for me and all those rugby fans over the years.
