遲來的HKICS7後記。💭 謝謝喜歡我作品的朋友和新follow的朋友😍每次聽到喜歡我的畫我的設計，我內心都超級開心😍 今次活動在會展舉行意外人流很多，氣氛亦很好～ Day1還擔心會因為紅雨而影響參觀人流，但無影響不特止還令我忙過不停😂由開始接收似顏繪妥託後便忙到整個下午食唔到lunch加廁所都去不了，未到2點有些貨品已經售罄，大家都很厲害，但只要大家喜歡我就滿足了🫡 當晚還要連忙補貨，雖然都補不到多少😮💨 看到其他檔都是人流滿滿，有些感動原來香港插畫文創有咁多人支持🥲（創作之路唔易行🫡） 辛苦同檔的其他幾位artists互相幫助同照應，亦都高興來探我的朋友。明白到我們的夾檔也有點誇張，每次跟參觀朋友解釋分類都好似好複雜😂😂😂如果還有下次可能會分散一下無咁混亂～ 亦感謝旁邊展攤，我時不時都撞到展板😂 ⭐️活動後我仍會接似顏繪妥託，歡迎dm查詢🤗 之後可能再弄一個收費表之類方便參考，理論上跟活動上的差不多～當天亦有朋友查詢過可不可以畫大一點A4之類，我都會再整合一下方便了解🫰🏼 期待下次活動再分享我的新創作🌸 謝謝主辦 @hkicshow ,將活動辦得越來越精彩❤️ #hkics #hkics2024 #hkics7 #香港插畫及文創展 #插画 #插畫 #香港插畫家 #文創 #illustration #hkillustration

Jellyfish in the night sky In Japan, jellyfish is thought to be the moon in the ocean. This time I am adding bubbles so that the jellyfish looks more dynamic as if it were flying. The middle part of the pen makes use of a crescent moon opal and crushed opal to represent starry sky. Kitsune and Torii Gate ( Glass dip pens) Kitsunes are teleported from Kyoto after the hand sign post followed by saying “Kon!” The pen body of the white foxes mimics crystal clear water while that of the red foxes represents the burning sunset. Torii gate is the best motive as pen rests to match with these creatures. White is considered as the original color of torii gates which were more common than red until the arrival of Buddhism in Japan. White gives a sacred, pure impression to people and believes to ward off evil spirits. I combine the white torii gate with a sea “glass-stone” to represent the floating torii gate in Japan. Meanwhile, red torii gates remind me of fireworks festivals in Japan. Crystal Bay (Sakura) Simplicity is elegance. This year I am introducing minimalism in my pen body designs. This series will be more practical and affordable with a simple opal topper. There will be frequent releases of this series with various opal shapes and types of nib. I was told many are looking for fine glass nibs as they love drawings and small letters. Meanwhile, I am trying to develop some standards about nib size. More EF and F nibs will be made in the future!
