Not only do I love tradition, but I love a family that knows how to have fun! This image captures both perfectly. This wonderful family (along with their cousins) make the looonng drive to my studio every holiday season to hang out with Santa. This year is the year that almost wasn't because (cue the tears) someone (ahem) has outgrown the tradition. As any mom with a teenager knows, they can be a bit ... what's the word?? Ah, yes, stubborn. Headstrong. Obstinate. You get the idea. With a little bit of luck (and I'm assuming a lot of bribery and arm-twisting) Mom was able to squeeze one more year out of this guy and capture some priceless memories in the process.I lost count of the number of families we photographed in the studio over this holiday season, but it was well over 100.
