Last weekend we got to see Henley’s second dance recital at Universal in Orlando FL. It makes my heart happy to see how much Henley loves to dance, and the friends she’s made. 🥹 As parents you try your best to give your kids a better life than you had. We feel incredibly blessed to be able to give Henley and Hendrix the opportunity to participate in different sports and activities, to begin to figure out what they are passionate about! 🙏 It’s amazing watching her on stage, performing with her friends, building confidence, and just having fun. 🥰🙌 Of course it doesn’t hurt that the performance is at Universal Studios, and we get to make it a little weekend getaway for the family! 😉 BTW…Have you been to Universal? Over the past six months, we’ve been on a wild journey to conquer bedtime with our kiddos. 😴 These kids want back rubs, bedtime stories, lullabies, and all of the above - anything other than to sleep🤣 We have been struggling to get on the same page, and we were all suffering because of it. And THEN our little ninja learned to escape his crib, making his way to our room (which Doug didn’t love). 😫 We decided to take a parenting course with takingcarababies and honestly, we took our amazing fransss for advice too🙏📚 So happy to say ITS WORKING!!!
