One thing I absolutely love about the restaurants in Dhaka city these days is their efforts in decorations. My most favourite sushi place @izakayabd Recent I tasted their Wagyu steak 🍖 I have had some great experience But this is the best. Flavor is superbly meaty. Best way to describe it is a top-of-the-line dry aged steak but even more intense. Recently I went to @izakayabd and tasted their beautiful dessert. It’s basically japanese cotton cheesecake with blueberry sauce and whipped cream. Firstly I don’t like blueberries at all but after tasting this item I really loved the whole combo ! The cake had a fresh nice vanilla flavor which I basically want in my cake. Salmon Bento @izakayabd Usually we always take our regular items which you might have seen in our previous posts. This time we tried something different, and took their Salmon Bento. Not very bad, even though it wasn’t the most satisfying item on their menu. It comes with two salmon teppanyaki grilled fillets, two chops made with corn and creamy butter filling, an egg fried rice, 4pc california rolls and a salad which I am not exactly sure about. Aburi salmon belly sushi is basically the fatty cut from the belly of salmon fish which is rich in flavours. It was partially torched and was topped with garnish. We loved this one for the richness of flavours and also a plus point was - Salmon sushi has been always my favourite!⠀ ⠀ Fried Nori Beef Taco⠀ Price: 450++⠀ A play on Asian fusion, deep-fried nori in tempura batter with a teriyaki beef filling. This item was pretty unique for the fried shell. I felt the shell was touch oily. Is Izakaya same as before?⠀ ⠀ ⠀ If you are following me for a good amount of time, you would know how much I love izakaya not just for the food, but also for the decor. Recently there was a giveaway where I won a cash voucher of 500tk. So I went here to avail it and also have something new which I didn't try before. @izakayabd ⠀ ⠀ Ebi mayo⠀ Price: 455Tk⠀ Lightly fried shrimp with dribbles of tangy mayo. 5pcs of shrimp on the bed of lettuce was always my favourite. So this time it was a touch different. Why? Generally, before I had it, they used to dip the shrimp in the mayo which would create a crunchy and smooth experience every time you take a bite. This time the amount was mayo was less as they provided it in a small tub. So mix your mayo properly before having it. I felt the shrimps were slightly dry maybe due to the inconsistency of the mayo over it as I was used to like that before with much mayo. I think they should revert back to the old method of serving it. This one was very good in taste and can vouch for it every time.⠀ ⠀ Chicken Katsu Curry Rice⠀ Price: 500Tk⠀ Ultimate Japanese comfort food; deep-fried chicken cutlet with rice and curry. Wanted to try out a chicken and rice item from the menu and ended up ordering this one. The rice comes with breaded and deep-fried chicken boneless strips and a curry which tastes of thick blended corn. The taste of the meal is very light and slightly off for our Bengali taste buds for the curry especially. The chicken was succulent and well fried. Overall, we enjoyed it!⠀ ⠀ The service was good as always. Our bill was around 1200 taka including the charges.
