The Gurkha Bar and Grill - Stourbridge As a fairwell to one member of the group a change in day was organised for this months tikka night. A few beers before hand then onto Ghurka we went First impressions the staff couldnt do more for us. Very attentive and quick with drinks orders. Couldnt do enough for us. Normally we dont go for poppadoms but this time we did and so glad we did. Onion was spot on and extra creamy mint sauce was provided in abundance. Food came in reasonable time. Boneless grill - plenty of meat on there and maybe just enough for 2 people to share. Fish pakora bang on nice crispy outside and fluffy inside. The tikka meat and garlic meat was very average and a tad dry, sheesh kebab was nice had a little kick Chilli chips - soho oaks are hard to beat and they do set the standard. Unfortunately ghurkas fall short. They had a nice taste but were a bit soggy Massala sauce - not bad not amazing. Its ok to dip into but doesnt set the world on fire Cheese and garlic naan - WOW quite possibly one of the best iv tried. Superb amount of garlic and cheese. Would definitely recommend this!! Homemade "baked" beans & egg on wholemeal toast. The beans were a total cheat, which were actually pretty good but not baked. I used a can of haricot beans with the juice from the can & half a can of drained black-eyed beans & added 2 heaped tblsps of tomato puree, salt & white pepper. All in a pan & cooked through for about 15/20 mins, then popped a softly cooked egg on top 🍳 delish! Posypuję zmielonym erytrolem lub owocami. Ciasto jest idealne zarówno to wymieszane mikserem, jak i łyżką.
