Every item was good! The coffee was good as well. Try their cheese-based desserts, those can beat the entire menu hehe! The presentation of each item was very good if you compare it with the price. The croissants were too good, dip them in the coffee before you consume them! From the mains we tried pasta, peri peri chicken and tomato soup. The pasta was delicious. The peri peri chicken came with rice and it was quite spicy for me. So if you like spicy food, then you should defo try this one. A personal suggestion - It’s a new restaurant and super hyped so a lot of crowds are to be seen, take some time to visit to let them settle for the crowd. For winter beefy noodle soup is a must-have! From the mains, my favourite pick would be stir-fried calamari and white snapper. I am a seafood lover and these were a blast! If you love spicy naga flavour then opt for the seafood fried rice and if you love subtle taste then Hong Kong chicken rice bowl. This place is very famous for its Pasta and Bangla-style shawarma. Before visiting this place, I waited a few days to read some reviews online and was thrilled with the visit! "Ruen" which means "house" and "Busaba" which is the name of Thailand's national flower. The grilled beef was on point - it was tender and the flavours were very good - we were impressed! It went well with the fried rice. The seafood with young coconut is on the light flavourings and comes with crab, prawns and squids. This will go well with a bowl of spicy rice I think. Khao Soi was super! I will go back here again for this! So good! The mango sticky rice was good, not overpowering with sweetness. Loved the Busaba secret drink, it was just fantastic! The seafood paella had a strong fishy taste and came with big-sized shrimps and a mixture of seafood. Sufficient for one person, the texture of the meal of soft and greasy. The steak initially came with a little mess up - after informing the manager, he was kind enough to give us a brand new meal, however this time the doneness was a little messed up but it tasted delicious! The restaurant was crowded so probably due to the pressure it was messed up 😟. The poutine and the salad were pretty much loaded. I wish they used a little less sauce in both of these, as I prefer to have less sauce, some might love more sauce. The soup needs improvement, thickness-wise and tastewise it was fine but we felt it was way too sweet to be a soup. Now let’s talk about the steaks, the beef rib eye was very good, and we took the doneness- medium rare. We opted for southern corn rice and mashed potato. Both were good. We took pepper sauce and lemon butter sauce with this. For the cheese beef steak, we opted for roasted potatoes and beans salad. The salad was a touch spicy for us, giving a salsa flavour. Lueur, located in the centre of Dhaka, is a patisserie inspired by French cuisine. The founders of Lueur are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the craft and have created an atmosphere reflecting the original European roots of the patisserie. Lueur's goal is to provide authentic Parisian flavours to those who appreciate them most. Lueur has the plan to sell crafted desserts to the mass people keeping the budget in range. The place is aesthetic and perfect for a hangout with peace. They do offer outdoor seating too. Items we tried were - ❇️ Cherry Flower-350/- ❇️ Chocolate Peanut Tart-290/- ❇️ Chocolate Lava Muffin-185/- ❇️ Salted Caramel Dome-340/- ❇️ Cheesecake All the desserts were delicious! My favourite ones would be the cheesecake, cherry flower and caramel dome. The lava muffin had thick chocolate inside. Would be amazing if it was oozing out! The peanut tart has a hard base with delicious creme on top! The cheesecake was smooth and so good! ❇️ Chocolate Croissant -195/- ❇️ Raspberry Croissant price-245/- The croissants were not only golden, and flaky but also every bite we could taste the butter. The fillings were premium too! Loved the raspberry one! The outside is delicately crispy, while the inside is fluffy. ❇️ Mushroom Puff-135/- ❇️ Beef Puff-155/- The mushroom puff was fantastic, but the beef puff was flaky and tasted regular. ❇️ Pod Coffee-260/- They are offering some great coffee options from Comptoirs Richard Coffee company. The aroma of the coffee was just on point. The chicken was grilled well. However, we felt it was really sweet for our tastebuds. If you like sweetness in savoury items, then you will love this one! ❇️ Norwegian Pink Salmon-1000Rs Grilled salmon served with citrus butter, creamed potato and sauteed veggies. They also provided us with fresh buns. This was just too good! Way cheaper than Dhaka and tasted good, little on the chewy side. The sides complemented the dish well! ❇️ Stir Fry Veg & Chicken-720Rs It was served with garlic, ginger, house chilli & soya sauce salad, mixed veggies, fried rice and spicy yoghurt. Little sweet and a little tangy, tasted regular to us. ❇️ Choco Truffle Eggless-200Rs ❇️ White Chocolate Cheesecake-250Rs The cheesecake was very light, fluffy and delicious. The choco truffle was very heavy and slightly dry. ❇️ Mineral Water-200Rs One bottle of water for 4 people was really expensive for the price :( Overall the cafe is perfect for Instagram photos and the ambience is very cute too!
