In memory of the best president my country ever had! You'll always be in our heart Thomas Sankara! For who doesn't know this man, he was the greatest, smartest and most courageous revolutionary president, who served my country from '83- '87 and was nominated as "The African Che Guevara". He fought for Burkina Faso's Indipendence against white supremacy rules/laws and in African Countries. He wanted the best for his population and be the same as them! As Sankara became the President of the Republic of Upper Volta. He immediately launched programmes for social, ecological and economic change and renamed the country from the French colonial name Upper Volta to Burkina Faso ("Land of Incorruptible People"). Cuba rewarded Sankara with the highest honour of the state, the Order of Jose Marti. Solidarity was his choice to be, indeed he: • He sold off the government fleet of Mercedes cars and made the Renault 5 (the cheapest car sold in Burkina Faso at that time) the official service car of the ministers. • He reduced the salaries of well-off public servants (including his own) and forbade the use of government chauffeurs and first class airline tickets. • He opposed foreign aid, saying that "He who feeds you, controls you". • He spoke in forums like the Organization of African Unity against what he described as neo-colonialist penetration of Africa through Western trade and finance. • He called for a united front of African nations to repudiate their foreign debt. He argued that the poor and exploited did not have an obligation to repay money to the rich and exploiting. Thomas knew how to show his people that they could become dignified and proud through will power, courage, honesty and work. What remains above all, is his integrity. Honor, Respect and Honesty were his weapons but got sadly killed from his best friend Blaise Compaore, by Orders coming from colonzator countries. Yesterday we revealed the first artist for our nexw Melodic Mania Radioshow , today we reveal the second rtist and we are proud to present @jaamann._ in collaboration with the german recordslabel @tiefdruckgebeat !! Jaamann is an Afro-Italian producer and DJ, who relocated from the Ivory Coast to Italy at a young age, where he grew up with diverse music genres such as Rock, Hip Hop and RnB. A few years ago, Jaamann found his way to the Techno capital: Berlin, where the beat, tempo, rhythm and ininite combinations of used sounds roped him into the Techno scene. In 2018, he started to turn his passion into career with his first release on Tiefdruckgebeat. While he played in several clubs across Germany, his "home" is the Mensch Meier club in Berlin.
