Usbekistan 🇺🇿, April 2024 Teil 1. Diesen Beitrag schreibe ich mit Tränen in den Augen. Ich habe unendlich viele Länder - Dank Gottes Hilfe - in meinem Leben besuchen dürfen. Selten hat mich ein Land jedoch so beeindruckt, so überrascht und so fasziniert wie dieses Paradies namens Usbekistan. ❤️🇺🇿 Unscheinbar und verschlossen dieses Land mit der alten Seidenstraße sein mag, an jedem Fleck und in jeder Sekunde wird man begeistert. Die Herzlichkeit, Offenheit, Wärme und Gastfreundlichkeit der Menschen ist kaum zu beschreiben. Es ist eine komplett andere Kultur, geschmückt mit Charme, Respekt, Anstand und klaren, naturverbundenen Akzenten. Wie beschreibt man die Natur? 🗻⛰️🏞🏔 🚗Fährt man die alten Seidenstraße entlang, die seit vielen Jahrhunderten schon durch Usbekistan verlief und den Westen mit Handelswaren wie Stoffen, Gewürzen, TEE 🍵 etc aus Indien und China belieferte, so kann man diese Magie spüren und sich in die damalige Zeit fast hineinversetzen. Überall sind Berge, Steppen, Wüsten. Mitten in den heißen Wüsten befinden sich dann irgendwo doch unendlich hohe Berge und dazwischen sind kühle Seen. 🏞🏞🏔 Am Wegesrand laufen Überall (Schaschlik) Kühe 🐄, Ziegen 🐐, Schafe 🐑 und Schildkröten 🐢 herum. Mit den großen Schildkröten kann man auch kuscheln. ❤️ Das Essen ist besonders gut. Überall steckt extreme Handarbeit drin. Aber dazu iwann mehr.... Man kann inmitten einer Steppe in diesen alten Jurten (zelten) schlafen. Es ist alles so traditionell, so ursprünglich, so sauber und rein und nicht durch verschmutzt durch Habgier, Konsum, Neid und Gier. Day 31: Dungalak - Samarkand. After a night of deep sleep in the serene atmosphere of the Uzbekistani desert, we went to the nearby Lake Aydarkul. This is an artificial lake which was introduced to many sorts of fish, and has attracted many types of aquatic birds. The brave took a swim in the cold water (maybe 16-20 degrees Celsius) while others relaxed in the sun. This was a nice break before turning my nose towards the bigger city of Samarkand. #pictureoftheday #lakeaydarkul #samarkandnights

Thanks to my friend Rafhat and his son Gavrill I was able to walk around this amazing market for hours and barely scratch the surface of this more than 2 square kilometer collection of seamingly unassorted junk, but carefully scan the wares and priceless artifacts can be found. . Tezykovka is a world away from Uzbekistan's ancient monuments or Tashkent's cool boutiques and bars: it's another slice of this marvellous city, a great melting pot of goods and people. Of course there are stalls and stalls of books, home wares, clothing and spare parts. It's a sea of "stuff".
