What an unexpected day this was. I been dealing with heel pain for like 6 months now from hiking. The last doctor I went to said PT was all I can do. And that didn’t work. So I went in for a second opinion to a new doctor. After chatting for a little bit he said we should try to immobilize it. And suggested a boot. I told him I just wouldn’t wear the boot like I’m supposed to. Than he goes….. “than something a little more permanent, a cast” And he than said “and we’re gonna do it now”. I was in shock. I walked in expecting to walk out….. not on crutches with a cast on my right leg for 3 weeks…..

I sometimes receive personal messages asking if the problem is only in my arms and my legs have never been in a cast. Yes, and I wasn’t happy about that. Especially because you don’t keep them nice and clean. Last one of Jamie in her Hot Pink Short Leg Cast. She liked that she was able to walk in it. Made it so much easier for her to get around and show it off. She said the hot pink was her favorite. Super bright. No hiding it. Everyone would look at her when she was out. And a few people asked her what happened. It’s always a nice feeling being trapped in some casts. The long leg cast just made it that much more restricting. Not being able to put any weight on either cast.
