The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another purposively, to cause vibrations in the soul." ~ Wassily Kandinski Eighteen days ago, we were out of town, hurriedly browsing a large antique shop before we had to check into our hotel. I had already taken a few things to the front desk when I was drawn to a "Williamsburg" quilt. It was beautifully displayed, and the colors directly influenced my soul. With the help of a salesperson, we examined it...it was in excellent condition. I had no idea how I would use it, but it was coming home with me. (You might recall that twenty minutes later, I had fallen and was lying on the hotel parking lot.) I thought I was going to use the quilt in one of our guestrooms...until last Thursday when I walked into Pottery Barn and saw those pillows. The details of the embroidery caused such vibration in this piano player's soul, since I knew right away that, together with the quilt, they would play well with all the other colors in our bedroom. Photos just don't adequately tell the color story here...how the greens in both the quilt and the pillows echo the melody of the curtains. Check out my stories for a close-up of both. "Purposively"...serving or effecting a useful function though not as a result of planning or design. Sometimes the best things just happen. ফেসবুকে হুট করেই কারো সাথে পরিচয়, তার সাথে হটাৎ চ্যাটিং এর পরিমাণ বেড়ে যায়। অপরিচিত,একেবারেই অচেনা, তারপরেও দুইজন দুই জনের সাথে সব কথা শেয়ার করে। - তুমুল স্পিডে টাইপিং,সাথে সাথে রিপ্লাই,নোটিফিকেশন চেক জানিয়ে দেয় দুজনই বন্ধুত্ব টা কে উপভোগ করছে খুব। - তাদের সম্পর্ক টা না প্রেমের,না বন্ধুত্বের! কয়েকদিন... - কয়েক মাস খুব কথাবার্তা হয়।o - হোক সেটা মেসেজে কিংবা কমেন্টবক্স, মাঝেমাঝে কমেন্টবক্স টা তো ইনবক্স হয়ে যায়। - কিন্তু ধিরে ধিরে চ্যাটিংয়ের পরিমান কমতে থাকে!! - ফ্রেন্ডলিস্টে আস্তে আস্তে নতুন লোকজন আসে! সেই পুরাতন নামটা!! -মেসেজ বক্স এ তলানির দিকে চলে যায় আস্তে আস্তে! - হাজারো ব্যস্ততা,ক্লাস,প্রাক্টিকেল করে ক্লান্ত..! - কমেন্টবক্স এ আড্ডা জমেনা আর!! -আস্তে আস্তে সম্পর্ক টা জাষ্ট রিয়েক্ট আদান প্রদান এ চলে যায়। . - কথা হয়না বহুদিন!! -দুজনেই ভুলে যায়! কিংবা ভুলে না! - ফেসবুকের On this day জানিয়ে দেয় গতোবছর এই মানুষটার সাথে কত্তো কথা হতো! . - আজকাল তো আইডি টা চোখেই পড়ে না! - খোঁজ করলে দেখা যায় নামের পাশে Add Friend লেখা কিংবা,,,block করা.. -ফ্রেন্ড লিস্টে আইডি টা আছে! - তবে সেই মানুষটা আগের মতো নেই! জীবন থেমে থাকে না, এগিয়ে যায় কথা বলার মতো নতুন নতুন লোকের অভাব নেই! তবুও, হাজারো ব্যস্ততার ভিড়ে সেই পুরাতন মানুষটা কে প্রায়ই নক দিয়ে বলতে ইচ্ছে করে! -অনেক দিন কথা হয় না,মনে পরে সেই !!! . এটাই তো ভার্চুয়াল! 🥰 কি অদ্ভুত তাই না, একসময় যার সাথে কথা না বললেই নয়, আজ সে আমায় চিনে-ই না,এটাই কঠিন বাস্তব💔 #story #storytime #storytelling #storyofmylife #virtual Sam Kumar

Hey, ihr Lieben 🤗 ▫️ So many books, so little time ▫️ Zur Zeit zähle ich 22 SuB-Bücher und 20 Neuerscheinungen, die auf meiner diesjährigen Leseliste (bis jetzt) stehen. Die Hörbücher sind nicht einmal mitgezählt 😅 Hinzu kommt, dass ich zu Spontankäufen neige und eine Mood-Leserin bin, also bleibt es voraussichtlich zu 99,99% nicht bei dieser bescheidenen Zahl. Ich muss mir wohl einen Plan überlegen, um meine freie Zeit besser zu managen, nicht ganz einfach wenn man Vollzeit arbeitet, Haushalt schmeißt und auch noch Qualitytime mit Familie und Freunden haben möchte 😄 Dabei möchte ich die Bücher nicht überfliegen, wenn dann lese ich jede Seite ganz genüsslich und möchte es auch gern beibehalten. Jedenfalls freue ich mich auf jedes einzelne Buch, das auf meiner Liste steht und auf jede Überraschung, die mich in der Buchhandlung erwartet 😊 ▫️ #qotd: Hat noch jemand dasselbe Problem?
