Also obsessed with this vibrant rainbow pillow! 🩷 This simple exercise is so important for your bubba. 🤍 Weaning Essentials Checklist 🤍 Starting your baby on solids can be super exciting but also daunting at the same time! 🍎🍌🥦 To sum up our weaning week, I’ve compiled a list of things to get you ready for the journey 🫶🏻 ⭐️ Highchair: Snag an adjustable, comfy, wipeable highchair for those early sits! You should start placing your baby in the chair when they’re ready to sit with support and have a good neck control. This will help your bubba get used to the chair before starting solids 🫶🏻 ⭐️Fruit pacifier (and a pacifier clip): this has been my favorite item! Alayna has tried so many new foods in this! ⭐️ Cute weaning spoons that double up as teethers? Yes, please! ⭐️Silicone bowls, suction plates, and cutlery (the suction is a lifesaver when the little ones are in a mood to throw things around 😅). I started giving Alayna her silicone spoons when she was around 4m so she could practice holding and chewing on them. This helped her a lot in feeding herself from a pre-loaded spoon when she started solids at 6 months of age! ⭐️ Silicone training cup with a teething straw. It’s designed to help babies progress from free flow straw cup to open cup! ⭐️Full-sleeved waterproof aprons, silicone bibs, and food catchers to protect those adorable outfits 😋 ⭐️ This weaning recipe book was really handy.
