For the past 2 years, my life revolved around Mango and his anxiety/fear. I catered around tiptoeing around his food to making sure no box is in his way or having to give him pep talks to continue walking, to not be afraid, etc. Mango was my new normal and I seem to have forgotten what a normal dog actually acts like. Toast is a dog but to meโ heโs fascinating. Heโs easy to train, confident, doesnโt flinch when you move wrong and is unafraid of anything. He plays, knows manners, eats everything and heโs so easy. I remember walking him and telling my bf how easy it is to walk himโ he just walks without getting stunned by the sound of a garbage truck or someone walking by. Donโt get me wrong, I love Mango with my entire heart and soul and now I get to share that love with Toast too. In return, Toast has been training Mango to be more confident, to see the world as he sees it. He has become Mangoโs best friend, safety blanket and therapist.
