Sterling Archer. El espía más peligroso del mundo. Tras demasiadas aventuras y demasiados encuentros con la muerte segura, el vástago de la legendaria Mallory Archer enfrenta su desafío más temido: el pase de antorcha, y un posible retiro del mundo del espionaje. Nunca me tomé la molestia de hablar de "Archer" por este medio, pero su fin definitivo al cierre de esta décimo-cuarta temporada con el especial "Into the Cold" parecía darme la excusa que necesitaba. En un mundo ideal, la producción habría sabido que la cancelación era inminente y la trama de episodios se hubiera desarrollado con vistas a eso. Lamentablemente no es el caso, dejando de lado el especial de diciembre. Por tanto tenemos una temporada irregular, con nuevos personajes que no acaban de cerrar y un cambio de paradigma que no llega a ejecutarse apropiadamente (con la excepción de la orgánica puesta al mando de Lana Kane, ya entrenada hace tiempo para el cargo). No obstante, el humor irreverente y rápido, las referencias multi-culturales, y las inteligentes inserciones de géneros permanecen igual de intactos que siempre. Es cierto, el programa perdió parte de su chispa debido a su larga duración. No es para nada el mismo Sterling que conocimos allá en 2009, pero su progresiva maduración lo vuelve muy dimensional, sin perder completo los atributos que forman su carácter. Un logro notable. La animación sólo ha sumado nuevas capas de complejidad con los años, dejando atrás esos renderizados extraños de principios de la década pasada para dar con ingeniosos juegos de iluminación, dispares escenarios y exhaustivas caracterizaciones faciales. Tampoco se queda atrás el enorme reparto vocal. Benjamin, Tyler, Kane, Parnell, Nash, Yates y el creador Adam Reed han hecho de este conflictivo grupo uno imposible de no amar. Quizás el futuro nos depare una nueva aventura para la ahora extinta agencia de espías. Mercoledì Serie Tv Adult NO SPOILER Recensione Archer Stagione 14 Insomma ancora è necessario fare recensioni di Archer fino alla quattordicesima stagione? Forse non abbiamo molto altro di cui parlare al momento e abbiamo bisogno di un tappabuchi, mea culpa. Comunque la nuova stagione arrivata su Netflix è il solito brodo, la solita cosa che va avanti da 14 anni. Incredibile come sia passato tutto questo tempo, ma cosa può ancora dare una serie spy in cui si è esplorato praticamente ogni sfaccettatura del genere? Soprattutto quando è stata presa la decisione di porre fine le storie autoconclusive ambientate in vari mondi e con dinamiche sempre nuove (una delle cose più belle della serie)? Non considerando il fatto che visivamente non si aggiorna. E non parliamo delle animazioni in sé che essendo quelle è anche giusto che rimangano tali, ma ancora i computer profondi, le tv a tubo catodico, le tecnologie antiquate. Almeno venissero fatte vedere nuove idee all’avanguardia con storie fresche e invece sempre la solita minestra. Allora perché gli stiamo dando un voto così alto? Beh, innanzitutto perché c’è nell’ultima puntata una gag sull’Unione Europea di un’attualità e una sagacia che vale tutto lo show da sola. Poi perché alla fine è pur sempre Archer. Graffiante, dissacrante e spassoso, con personaggi totalmente folli quasi peggio di South Park e volgarità a non finire. Insomma non innova nulla e si perde un po’ in se stesso, nella gloria di un nome che non è più lo stesso. Tuttavia è pur sempre il buon vecchio Archer e gli vogliamo bene. Un terreno familiare che ci porta a vedere di filata tutte le puntate ogni volta che esce una nuova stagione. E se riesce a farlo anche arrivati alla stagione 14, comunque dei meriti li ha. Non sappiamo quali, ma li ha. Archer has been back with a new season since August but I’m happy to announce S13 being available to stream on Netflix! Archer and The Agency have been acquired by Fabian Kingsworth and the spy conglomerate known as IIA (International Intelligence Agency). As the gang struggles to find their identity performing odd missions for Fabian, one question arises: will they be able to maintain independence, or will they succumb to their corporate overlords? I’ve always hyped Archer from the jump. This is that adult animation that you’re hooked to and give every episode you’re undivided attention. The only other adult animation that tops this is Rick & Morty. Archer is actually funny too. You can see a lot of character development throughout the seasons and it’s one of those shows where you can have more than one favourite character. Some of the jokes are completely inappropriate but I love that dark, sarcastic and dry humour. First 7 seasons were just amazing. I felt like it did fall off a little bit but not enough that it completely destroyed the show. It will still always be my top recommendation for a casual watch, something you don’t need to overthink or focus on whilst you do other things. You can definitely binge watch this again and again. In Staffel 11 ist Archer endlich wieder aus seinem Koma erwacht - heißt, es kehrt nach Weltraumschlachten und trostlosen Film-Noir-Episoden wieder etwas Normalität zurück. Archer darf wieder als Agent bei ISIS mit mehr Glück als Verstand den bösen Buben das Handwerk legen. Schlecht für ihn nur, dass sich während seinem Koma die Welt weiter gedreht hat und sein ehemaliges Opfer Cyril nun sein muskelgestärkter Vorgesetzter ist. 8 Episoden a 20 Min. darf man Archer dabei beobachten, wie er wieder ins Leben zurückfindet und neben der üblichen Rettung der Welt auch noch ISIS langsam wieder nach seinen Vorlieben umkrempelt. Ganz zum Leidwesen von Cyril. Die Staffel ist wieder sehr unterhaltsam und hat eine Vielzahl gut zündender Gags auf Lager. Da ich die Koma-Staffeln nicht ganz so gern mochte, wie die Staffeln zuvor, freue ich mich natürlich sehr, dass diese Folgen nun durch sind. Dr. Krieger ist wieder in altbekannter Form und ist sich nicht zu schade für zweifelhafte Waffenentwicklungen, moralisch verwerfliche Menschen-Experimenten und noch mehr, das sicher in den meisten Ländern dieser Erde verboten sein dürfte. Wer den Humor der letzten Staffeln (der sicher mehr als ein mal unter die Gürtellinie ging) mag, darf getrost wieder in die "Dangerzone". Here's something a bit different... Created by Adam Reed, the adult animated sitcom known as Archer, which debuted in September, 2009, has featured deftly-drawn Ferraris in more than a few episodes. In Season One Episode Nine, Job Offer, the Lana Kane character, played by Aisha Tyler, considered moving to France to work for a rival spy agency, where her company car would've been a blue 250 GTO. In Season Four Episode Four, Midnight Ron, you can see a red 250 GTO driving up to the terminal of the Montreal Airport. In Season Five Episode Seven, Smuggler's Blues, you can see three exotic cars parked outside of la Madrina's (the Godmother's) compound: a yellow Lamborghini Countach, a blue Mercedes (280 SL?), and a red 250 GTO with a white stripe. In Season Five Episode 11, Palace Intrigue, Part 2, we see TWO Ferraris: In the row on the left, behind the red racecar, is a white 250 GTO; behind the white GTO is a blue Ford GT40, and behind the GT40 is a red 288 GTO. In Season Five Episode 12, Archer Vice: Filibuster, Lana Kane can be seen reading a magazine, El Coleccionista, and the same white 250 GTO we saw in S5E11 is on the cover of that magazine. In Season Seven Episode One, The Figgis Agency, the Sterling Archer character, played by H. Jon Benjamin, moves to Los Angeles with the rest of the team, opens a private investigator agency, and buys a 308 GTSi - and they didn't draw just any 308, but specifically a 308 GTSi. Finally, in Season 13 Episode Six, Bank Run at Mr. Bank's Bank, we see that the Fabian character, played by Kayvan Novak, is driving an F430 Berlinetta. As you can notice, I love watching animated tv series. I think it's a shame that people often think that animation = for kids when it's far from being the case. So here's my ranking of the Archer seasons because I'm excited for season 13. I have to admit that the show hasn't been as good it used to be for the last few years so I'm kind of hoping they will end it before it gets really bad. They're ranked from my favorite to least favorite. Dreamland, Vice and season 3 are excellent, the others are good except for Danger Island and season 11 that I found somehow decent and 1999 was so bad that I don't even have the words to explain why. I only enjoyed the first and last episode in this season. "Welcome to the Danger-Zone!" 💪 So lustig kann ein Koma sein. Nachdem Archer in Staffel 7 angeschossen wurde und ins Koma fiel, sehen wir mit dieser Staffel weitere komatöse Träumereien und gleichzeitig ein Ende desselben. Diesmal verschlägt es die Crew in Archers Traumwelt an Bord der "M/V Seamus (934TXS)", einem intergalaktischen Weltraumfrachter. Dort ist er Co-Captain mit seiner Exfrau Lana und wird von einer schrägen Crew begleitet. Krieger darf als Android den verrückten Wissenschaftler spielen, während Cyril auch im Weltraum als Schiffsbuchhalter... nun ja, einfach Cyril ist. Mit dabei ist auch Weltraum-Kurtisane Ray, eine außerirdische Pam um die wie immer blutdurstige und psychisch gestörte Cheryl. Ich habe lange gebraucht, um nach Staffel 9 mit "Archer" fortzufahren. Doch ich war sofort wieder drin. Der Humor ist einfach eine Klasse für sich und gerade der Weltraum gibt Archer noch mehr Gelegenheit, als das Arschloch mit viel zu hohem Selbstbewusstsein in Erscheinung zu treten, als das er nur Mist baut und am Ende doch alle rettet. Die Folgen sind allesamt so speziell und schräg, dass man sie gar nicht so ohne weiteres beschreiben kann. Auf jeden Fall wird alles auf die Schippe genommen, was das Science-Fiction-Genre die letzten Jahre aufgebaut hat. More episodes of Archer? Yes please 😍 Season 12 is now available to stream on Netflix! This adult animated sitcom is one of@the most underrated sitcoms I’ve ever watched, it’s brilliant. I went through about a month just binge watching the whole series, it’s hilarious. I’ll definitely be rewatching the whole thing again in a couple years. The concept of the series is refreshing, it’s different to you usual adult animation. The humour is a dry and sarcastic type of humour but I LIVE for it. You also get to know each individual character and what makes them special in this show, so I really enjoy the character development in this one. The only downside is that I feel like it changed its direction at one point and it didn’t have that same buzz that it has for the first 6 seasons. However, still my favourite and will still recommend this to everyone! Personaggio più riuscito: Siamo rimasti stupiti da Archer, dalla volontà di renderlo meno bambinone e più uomo, più consapevole e farlo crescere emotivamente, pur mantenendo le sue stravaganze. Però da sempre e per sempre il nostro personaggio preferito sarà Krieger. . Scena memorabile: Saremo ripetitivi ma ogni gag di Krieger ci fa spaccare dalle risate. Però ci ha convinto la fine della prima puntata in cui Archer capisce che deve fare pace con se stesso e il suo passato, nonché futuro, per non pesare troppo sulle spalle altrui. . Scena disastrosa: Un unico difetto. Un ritorno in grande stile con troppe poche puntate! . Jolly: Sapevate che da molti anni si vocifera della produzione di un film live action basata sulla serie? Dovrebbe essere logicamente qualcosa di fedele, quindi uno spy movie politicamente scorretto, volgare, violento e totalmente fuori di testa, demenziale e allucinato. Tuttavia il suo creatore, Adam Reed (che nella serie interpreta Ray Gillette), ha fin da subito imposto una condizione fondamentale da dover rispettare. Per lui infatti, e per i fan logicamente, l’unico e vero Archer è la voce che lo presta ovvero H. Jon Benjamin, ma non ha l’età né la prestanza fisica per interpretare il ruolo dal vivo, perciò qualsiasi attore che avesse dovuto prendere parte al film sarebbe stato doppiato da Benjamin. Era anche stato inizialmente scritturato Jon Hamm per la parte, ma poi non se n’è fatto più nulla. Il progetto è attualmente fermo e non si sa quando, e se, andrà mai in porto. Giovedì Serie Tv Adult NO SPOILER Recensione Archer Stagione 11 E finalmente, dopo una diversificazione obbligatoria, ma a tratti noiosa, con l’undicesima stagione di Archer tutto torna alla normalità, risate comprese. La storia si riallaccia con quella lasciata in sospeso nell’ormai lontana stagione 7 e ci mostra che il mondo è andato avanti senza il protagonista e per questo motivo lui dovrà fare i conti sia con nuovi nemici, sia con degli amici diversi, cambiati, migliori, ma sotto sotto sono sempre loro e Archer farà di tutto per rimettere a posto gli status quo. La stagione la si vede nel giro di mezza giornata se consideriamo è composta da soli 8 episodi di 20 minuti ciascuno, un assaggino di qualcosa che volevamo e che ora ci rende bramosi dell’arrivo di nuove avventure. Ciò che salta all’occhio è una cura maggiore per l’approfondimento dei personaggi, di Archer in particolare, e la volontà di portare avanti le trame lasciate in sospeso e di fare qualcosa di innovativo allo stesso tempo. Tornano le risate, le battute politicamente scorrette, la violenza, le volgarità e l’azione strampalata. Tuttavia troviamo in noi una nuova consapevolezza. Che se con la settima stagione la storia era giunta a conclusione, seppur interrotta in qualche modo, e con quelle successive ci si era persi del tutto, con questa undicesima ci rendiamo conto che è stata aggiunta talmente tanta carne al fuoco che Archer potrebbe continuare per decenni e, probabilmente (si spera), mantenere la sua freschezza e originalità. Giovedì Serie Tv Adult NO SPOILER Recensione Archer Stagioni 8-10 Come già preannunciato la settimana scorsa, la serie tv Archer subisce un cambio importante nella trama portando a un nuovo inizio per la storia. Per poterne discutere appieno sarà quindi doveroso parlare della fine della settima stagione, perciò leggete a vostro rischio e pericolo. Un enorme arco narrativo è giunto a semi conclusione, durato ben 7 anni e ora gli autori danno libero sfogo alla fantasia. Infatti Archer è in coma e le avventure che gli vediamo vivere sono tutte frutto della sua immaginazione. Per questo motivo ogni gruppo di puntate mostra uno scenario differente, con ambientazioni diversificate e situazioni nuove. Dal noir anni 30 alla guerriglia cubana anni 70, passando per lo sci fi spaziale. La stagione 11 dovrebbe rappresentare un nuovo cambio di rotta, ma dobbiamo ancora vederla per potervene parlare. Una cosa è certa, ovvero che questa decisione di rendere le situazioni più variegate ha sia giovato che penalizzato la serie. Da un certo punto di vista è interessante vedere i personaggi alle prese con generi e ambientazioni che sembrano uscite fuori da un vecchio film, dando lustro a un gruppo di personaggi che riesce sempre a divertire. Allo stesso tempo gli stessi sono diventati ridondanti, noiosi e troppo demenziali. Sarà difficile trovare qualcosa di davvero divertente e il più delle volte è l’irritazione a prendere il sopravvento durante la visione. Oltretutto alcune situazioni erano state lasciate pesantemente in sospeso prima di questo cambio di rotta e vorremmo vedere un vero e proprio finale alle avventure di Archer e co. Potevano fare di meglio e magari avremmo visto queste variazioni con più interesse. In ogni caso la qualità è sempre altissima e il divertimento, sebbene in misura minore rispetto a prima, è ugualmente assicurato. Speriamo che i creatori tornino in fretta sulle retta via, prima di perdere molti fan storici.
