October again! It seems like a good time to share a few more fun things from my work on last year’s Muppets Haunted Mansion. I did the 3D modeling and printing of Miss Piggy’s “Madame Pigota” crystal ball stand for the film. It’s a faithful recreation of the version in the ride, but I made a little tweak to the original design to make it read a little clearer on camera. It has four legs instead of three to appear a bit more substantial from all angles. I met Elena at the Raleigh airport selling concessions. She left Russia 4 years ago and came to America. When I told her (in Russian) that I helped to create Ulits Sezam - the Russian version of Sesame Street and wrote a book - #Muppets in Moscow - she broke into a big smile and told me how she grew up on the show ! We spoke about how sad it is what is happening in Ukraine and in Russia. Then we hugged after we both agreed that one day - things will change again in Russia and for Ukrainians - in the future.
