Magical dining @markettotable in Winter Garden. Service is 10/10 - our server Mark was fantastic! Took great care of what we’re looking for and our drinks was never empty. Atmosphere is 9/10 - Rustic Modern atmosphere, comfortable and easy to have a conversation with our table and server. Dinner is 9/10 - We’ve ordered all three appetizers, dinners, and dessert for last. We loved our appetizers: mozzarella burrata, short rib ravioli, and truffle gnocchi. All appetizers were 10/10. Our dinners: lake meadow farm chicken (chicken was so juicy!), braised beef short rib (fall off the bone and delicious mash potatoes), Forage mushrooms Vol au Vent ( vegetarian and my goodness! So delicious!). All our meal was 10/10. Our desserts: chocolate velvet cake(bitterness and lightly sweet), Florida sunshine (very tart, only sweet part is the Cotten candy), and citron olive oil cake (lightly sweet and dense). These three from the magical dining wasn’t our favorite. These are 2/10. However! The strawberry cheesecake from their regular menu is 10/10! It’s New York cheesecake with a creme brûlée sugar top, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries. Our favorite dessert! Overall 9/10, we enjoyed and would recommend all our friends and family here. Last night @wintergardenfoodtours took us on a culinary adventure right in the heart of @downtownwintergarden ! This is unlike anything I’ve experienced on this side of the greater Orlando area, and a definite ‘must-do’ whether you’re a local or are visiting while these events take place. The Wine and Dine Tour is a gathering where like-minded (i.e. food lovers) folks gather to be a part of a food and wine tasting experience within the micro-local food scene as they visit several of the area’s establishments. This time, we visited The Deli Downtown, The Attic Door and Pilars Martini (paired with food from Market to Table). At @thedelidowntownwg we enjoyed a decadent sandwich which is not currently on their menu, but definitely should be! Think brie, strawberry jam and chocolate perfectly melted in soft, yet ultra crispy Ciabatta bread, and then you pair it with Champagne. It was heavenly!! Next stop was @theatticdoorlive where we were treated to a Tuna Poké dish with wonton chips paired with a beautiful Pinot Grigio, and meatballs + polenta paired with a Tempranillo. The meatball dish was definitely my favorite, but I’d also have the poké with ginger any day! As we left our second stop, Winter Garden gifted is with one of its magnificent sunsets, so we stopped to take pictures of that as well. Lovely as can be! Finally, our night ended up at @pilarsmartini with the show stopping @markettotable short ribs paired with a fabulous 1000 Stories Zinfandel, and a Giant Raspberry Macaron stuffed with gelato. Need I say more? Run - do not walk - to book your tickets next time they offer a tour. If you enjoy food as much as I do (okay, okay it could be a little less 😂) you will LOVE this food tour. In the meantime, you can visit any of these restaurants and indulge! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks John and Jamie for hosting such a unique experience! I shall be back.
