I need to thank the partners that helped turn my dream into a reality. Putting a K into the NSX wasn’t easy, but they made it happen. @Yokohamatire has been a major supporter. It’s easy to forget that the tire is the only thing that touches the racetrack. Power is nothing without control, and the #YokohamaTire #A052 is the ultimate 200tw control. Next is @battlecraftparts. Their parts supply and support has been huge throughout the years. @SportcarMotion played a massive role in my car being at SLB. We had some issues weeks before the event, and Loi pulled through and built an engine for us in only 5 days! @rcompoundusa has mounted countless tires for me, along with helping on and off the track. I always keep cool with @koyorad 😎. I’m running some parts that I can’t say too much about, but full tilt my car never got over 170 degrees with their awesome radiator. @kbros.fabrication Spent countless hours fabricating the beautiful turbo plumbing that snakes through the engine bay. @HybridRacing is what allowed me to row gears. The shifter, cables, and trans bracket are all Hybrid parts that worked flawlessly. @winmaxusa Gave us stopping power with their W6 compound. I don’t have abs, so the excellent modulation was exactly what I needed. @innovativemounts mounts are what I used to mount the K series into the car. I worked with them to make a kit that is now available to anyone that wants to do the swap. @insaneshafts transmit that power from the trans to the wheels with their custom KNSX axles. @MotorsportHardware provide spacers, studs, and lug nuts that are both incredibly strong and weight saving. The engine is completely wired with @rywire_motorsport_electronics. Their Milspec wiring harness and swap harness made the wiring on this car a breeze. They also have some exciting new PDM products that you need to see! The K’s trans is made of glass, but I’m not worried thanks to @ghostwerks. He’s put together a smooth 6 Speed that can handle whatever I throw at it. Thank you for all of the help you all have provided! 📸: @battledriven

It has been a hectic few nights, making some last minute changes to the #NSX for the tune. A HUGE thank you is owed to @theteafather and @sportcarmotion for letting me borrow some parts so we’re not delayed, and @studytuned for helping me get the car ready over the last few nights. Things are back on track, and we are back at @SPEnginering. Kristian is currently on the dyno doing the break in and starting the tune. I don’t know if I’m excited or nervous, but it sure felt good to see the nsx drive onto the dyno under its own power!
We’re at @SPEngineering where we took care of a few things, and now we’re doing the final checks before getting started on the tune. Thank you to #SPEngineering and @studytuned for the late night help to get the #NSX ready. It’s going to be a long night!
Well, It starts (and kind of runs)! I owe a huge thanks to @rywire_motorsport_electronics. Ryan has answered all of my questions, built a beautiful milspec harness, and the adapter harness that made this a pretty easy first start. His expertise and products made what would have been one of the biggest pains a breeze. There are only 30 days until @globaltimeattack #SuperLapBattle and this was a big step. The car starts, but the tune is way off. The next step is a visit to @SPEngineering so @studytuned can work his magic and get this thing tuned!
The #NSX is starting to look like a car again, thanks to the excellent work by @absautobody. I told Kevin I needed the car back ASAP due to my time crunch for SLB. He went above and beyond to finish the car ahead of schedule, and stayed late so I could pick it up after hours. There are only 33 days until @globaltimeattack #SuperLapBattle, so I’ll likely have 33 long nights to get this thing running and tested in time. Hopefully I’ll have it fired up for the first time this weekend 🤞🏼 📸: @mmmuoi
It takes about 30 seconds to pull a K20 out of an NSX (or a little over an hour at full speed). Pulled the mock up engine out of the #NSX last night, in preparation for the final engine to go in. I’ll be installing the @mcleodtunerseries clutch and dressing the built engine tonight, in hopes of it all going in tomorrow. The light at the end of that tunnel is getting brighter! If everything goes according to plan, I’ll have enough time to get a few test days in before @globaltimeattack #SuperLapBattle. (Also please excuse how messy the shop is, I have parts littered everywhere)

What better competition debut for the #NSX than @GlobalTimeAttack’s #SuperLapBattle? Signing up was the easy part, now it’s time to wrap up the build so I can get some testing in. See you in November.
Made solid progress this weekend. Like these carbon plates to mount the surge tank and expansion tank. Both tanks and the carbon plates weigh under 4 pounds. Also mounted the heat exchanger, and started the provisions for mounting the fuel components.
