Upcoming event at the Bethlem gallery in May/July 2024 about music and mental health - a Live Lounge exhibition with an opportunity to buy the album 'Melancholy and Madness'. For those who are unaware, Bethlem was originally intended to heal sick paupers, but eventually became known colloquially as 'Bedlam'. The term Bedlam became a stigmatizing term synonymous with a "madhouse". It's important to destigmatize mental health issues. And there is a movement to "reclaim" terms such as 'mad' and 'madness'. Throughout human history, music has been an important part of civilization, and it is known that music is linked to mental health, but it isn't really well understood.
