My entry for the @whatittakes_mua AHS recreation makeup contest! This was way more challenging than I had anticipated! My face paint was cracking and I couldn't seem to get a decent picture. I either need better face paint or need to learn how to use mine correctly, it just was not going on right. 😥 Sorry for the poor quality picture! ***AHS Season 6 Promo Image Recreation*** (Yay! I’m not looking like a dude!). This was tough. The fact is, I’m old. I’ve had hooded eyes my entire life and makeup and paint likes to settle in the lines under my 40-some-year old peepers. I’m not sure if it is my new @fentybeauty foundation that made my skin look so good or if the picture is a tad blurry. Either way, I’m happy with the results. I felt kinda hot for a moment or two. ***AHS Cult Promo Image*** Recreation attempt of original makeup by @kerryhertamua This was so tough without a bald cap and a face cast to make a prosthetic on. I used large pieces of plastic bags for the sides and adhered them with spirit gum to the side of my face. The honeycomb is made from model magic with craft foam on the edges to sort of make a hat. I then used homemade scar wax to fill in the gap from the craft foam to where it attached to my head. So much prep time on that honeycomb and I even tried to make a little wingless bee. (I forgot the wings! Ahhh!) I have a huge admiration for those that make prosthetics. Definitely not perfect, but a labor of love. #mpkerryahs contest entry. .
