New Perennial Monday - Nepeta 'Chartreuse on the Loose' PPAF Nepeta 'Chartreuse on the Loose' caught my eye in the trial beds of Walters Gardens last year. It makes an attractive, mat-forming groundcover that looks especially striking in combination with purple-leaved plants. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been somewhat biased against plants with chartreuse foliage in the past, but that has changed in recent years with the introduction of some impressive new perennial varieties like this one.
