A few years ago we made some pieces at The bloom hotel in Brussels. Recently they have been taken over by @nhowbrussels and are really embracing more art at the hotel. I had the pleasure of staying there last weekend to discuss future projects. The hotel is nicely situated next to The botanical gardens. It’s very well located on the edge of Brussels Centre and has great views of the city from the top floors including the gym. My drawing in the gym from a few years ago was still up and there was so much art in the rooms, corridors, lifts and lobby of the entire building. Really hoping we can collaborate with the hotel in the near future with an installation or maybe designing a room. If you do go there to stay make sure you include breakfast which is surely the best breakfast buffet in Brussels complete with their iconic painted Volkswagen van where you can make your own waffles. The Candy Room in the dining hall is also great for kids and definitely helps keep many Belgian dentists in work all year round 🍭 Thanks to Coralie and all the staff for making me feel so welcome.
