Hello! I thought I’d do a little re-introduction post to say hi to a flurry of new followers. I’m Rebekah, and I’m the creator behind everything you see on this account. I started this page 4 years ago as a way to document my creative journey and to hold myself accountable. Now, I’ve been self-employed for 2 1/2 years, and I’m still learning what works best! Recently, I’ve shifted my focus to creating more digital content, like downloadable PDFs and video tutorials. It feels like a return to my teaching roots, and I’m really enjoying it! Figuring out how to earn a living from my work has been crucial. I know it might seem awkward to talk about money—some people might even disapprove—but earning an income isn’t a luxury, it’s essential to support my family and me, especially in these challenging times. Finances are tight for many of us, so I truly appreciate everyone who has supported me. Being a small business owner isn’t easy. The income can be unpredictable, I wear many hats, and there’s no real “off” switch. I’ve had moments where I’ve considered quitting and getting a “real job” or going back to teaching. But I genuinely love what I do, and I’m proud of what I’ve built. Each purchase you make helps me continue to do what I love and live according to my values.
