LDR will work as long as both parties are invested in it, put in the work to nurture it and genuinely care about the other person's happiness. As promise, here's some tips from us that might help your LDR work too. . 1. Communicate regularly but not too excessively. Greet your partner “good morning” and “good night” every day - it's a must. Try to update your partner on whats going on in your life. You don’t really have to talk to each other 12 hours a day to keep the relationship going. Always remember, less is more. . 2. Enjoy your alone time and spend time with your family and friends. You don’t have to let your world revolve around your partner — you still have you, your friends and your family. Go to the gym, binge-watch Netflix, learn new recipes, hang out with your family and friends. We're telling you, theres plenty of things you can do that doesnt involve your partner. 😉 . 3. Set clear expectations and some ground rules. You need to be clear to your partner on what you expect of each other. For instance, both of us allow each other to hang out with our group of friends, but we make sure that we call each other once we reach home. This is giving your partner peace of mind. Don't do things that will take your partner by surprise. . 4. Stay positive. This covid changes everything we had planned. We set a goal on seeing each other twice a month, but obviously that didn't happen. Waiting and the uncertainties of when we gonna see each other is painful but we needed to remind each other there's a rainbow at the end of this. Always be thankful that you have someone to love and that someone loves you back. . 5. Last and very important tip we can share is this.. Have a goal in mind, set a timeframe for being back together. No couple can be in a LDR forever. Talk about the future. For how long are you gonna be apart. What do you guys want to achieve at the end of this? It is important that you two have the same goals and on the same page.
