We don't normally celebrate numbers ANDDDD this is almost a month late (we've been busy). But... We've 've officially been on the road over 1000 days. We've made friends, stopped for work, stayed in some incredible spots, spent 5 months in lockdown, 5 weeks in the snow in Vic, a year crossing SA, two weeks doing the Nullarbor, upgraded tickets and licences, tried out lots of cool new jobs, 2 family trips back to Melbourne, homeschooled and we're just getting started. The kids were 2 & 5 when we left, now they're 5 & 8! Australia is so big! We haven't even scratched the surface. We haven't even done half a lap yet. When we fly back to WA in about a week, we'll be exploring the South West in Winter, then heading north. Day 2's ideas for places to visit... 2 great houses near Wadebridge and Padstow, both family owned and free with HHA membership. Pencarrow is a Georgian house with lovely gardens, and an excellent tour by Sue! Also a great cafe with plentiful peacocks, and a good secondhand bookshop! Next, Prideaux Place, a tudor house with later additions, sitting above Padstow with lovely views across the deer Park and the Camel estuary. Another interesting tour and pretty gardens. Finally, a walk at lovely Trevone beach, in moody mood as the rain came in. Кажі́меж (пол. #Kazimierz; ідиш: קזימיר, #Казімір, קוזימיר, Кузімір, קוזמיר, Кузмір) — частина Кракова, що входить до складу дільниці Старе Місто. Від своєї появи у XIV ст. до поч. XIX ст. #Казімеж був самоврядним містом південніше Кракова і відділеним від нього бічним руслом Вісли. Північна-східна частина становить історичну єврейську дільницю. Багато століть #Кажімеж був місцем синтезу та співіснування єврейської та християнської культур. Нині є однією з головних туристичних пам'яток Кракова, а також важливим осередком культурного життя міста. Був королівським містом Корони Королівства Польського. Кажімеж став важливим центром єврейського життя в Польщі. У ньому були побудовані численні синагоги (7 з яких збереглися до тепер), кілька єврейських шкіл і кладовищ. У єврейському Кажімежі жили і працювали відомі рабини Моше Іссерлес і Натан Спіра. Під час Північної війни Кажімеж був значно зруйнований шведськими військами. У 1800 р. Кажімеж був приєднаний до Кракова і став одним з його районів. 1815-1846 рік за проектом архітектора Кароля Кремера відбулося перепланування Кажімежа. У 1822 р. були знесені кам'яні стіни, що відокремлювали єврейську частину від польської, і #євреї стали поступово заселяти польську частину міста. Наприкінці XIX ст. був засипаний річковий рукав Вісли і Кажімеж більше не відокремлювався від Кракова природними перешкодами. На місці річкового рукава була облаштована нова вул.Планти Детловські (тепер це вул. Юзефа Дітля). Під час Другої світової війни євреї були зігнані в Краківське #гетто, яке розташовувалося на протилежному березі Вісли. Більшість краківських євреїв були вбиті під час ліквідації гетто або в концентраційних таборах. 8.09.1994 указом президента Леха Валенси Кажімеж був оголошений Пам'яткою історії. Кажімеж є одним з важливих туристичних і культурних центрів Кракова! Не існує чітких меж між Кажімежем і Старим містом Кракова. Monopoli is misschien wel een van de mooiste plaatsjes in Puglia, vooral vanwege het pittoreske haventje waar kleurrijke vissersbootjes dobberen op het ritme van de zacht kabbelende golven. De witte straatjes van het stadje vormen een perfect decor voor een wandeling.
