Scottish indie dance act the Shamen brought the genre to the rave generation with thier 1989 single Pro-gen. The brainchild of the band Colin Angus teamed up with Will Sinnott and their love of the acid house scence became apparent on the En-Tact album. On its release the brightly coloured psychedelic record cover made me love the track even more. Paul Oakenfold's Land of Oz Mix extends the hypnotically electronic intro before Angus' vocals start to drift in. At this point we are introduced to the unforgettable rap of Mr C who went on to become the main focal figure of the band. Oakenfold then blends and chops the bleeps and beats to create an ending prime for a quality DJ mix. The B-side has a dark and dubby Ben Chapman mix of another En-Tact tracks; Light-span. On the Fokus Recordings version, the Frankie Bones Bonesbreak Mastermix is hard and edgy, and the Joey Beltram Remix adds a pulsating bassline and acid tweaks. During the shooting of the video for the re-issued and renamed Move Any Mountain release, Will Sinnott tragically died whilst swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.
