We spent the day at Rainbow River Tubing. We tied our tubes together and got a tube with a bottom in it to haul our dry bags and water bottles. The float time is about 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is someone at the exit point to help pull you out. A little back story on how The Rainbow House came to be.... We love going to Dunnellon and spending time on both the Rainbow and Withlacoochee Rivers 🚣but we noticed a huge void of "comfortable" places to stay. Don't get me wrong, we LOVE Old Florida charm, 🌴but found that many of the short term rentals we stayed in were very expensive and had furniture, kitchen utensils and linens circa 1977! 😂 The Rainbow House is playful, casual and delightfully unstuffy, yet offers ALL the yummy linens, pillows and amenities we love from a fine hotel.
