She lives! Trixy is a work in progress, and will never look the same after that bastard stole her and covered her in the worst paint job ever, but she feels, drives and sounds as good ever, with a new safety feature of a huge backfire to let everyone know I am nearby. After removing the first ten layers of paint, I can see progress. She'll hopefully end up like something out of an @ashleywoodart book, or an Escher painting. All work is being done by hand. Painful and painstaking, like taking off the bandages of The English Patient, but worth every moment. Any paint scheme suggestions gratefully accepted.

I was riding a demo Giant Trance and I can honestly say it was one of my favourite rides of that year, got back home and my mind was made up. With all the improvements to the A421 we haven't been able to get over that way in a couple of years, sure @mitchd777 still knows a way. . I know I seem like a melt when I write this but joining this group of like minded people has changed my life for the better. Up to that point there was a handful of people I would ride with and that was very rare.
