Why I love Branding Portraits... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Too many reasons to list, honestly. BUT - this photo right here is a great example. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s simple. It’s gorgeous (her, the setting, the lighting) It includes little details specific to her. It shows her calm and sophisticated demeanor. It’s different than a typical “headshot”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Most importantly, IT TELLS A STORY. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A story you can start putting together with context clues. Or this photo can be used to illustrate the story she tells you along with it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Good copy + story + photos = branding gold ⭐️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But easily, my favorite thing about Branding Photography, is being able to bring each individual person’s story, business and brand to life through photography. ☀️ Simply glowing ☀️ 2 things I “Don’t do anymore”: - Maternity/Family photo sessions. I still do every once in a while upon special request for former clients, friends, etc. bc I still LOVE these sessions 🥰 - I don’t post “sneak peeks”. Almost all of my packages are “per image” based, which means you choose the photos YOU want from an online proofing gallery. This model works better for businesses, which are my main clientele now. But I could not resist posting one from this weekend, because again, even though I “don’t do” these types of sessions anymore, boy do I love them! And what I miss the most about being a wedding and family photographer, is watching families grow and photographing the journey.
