Happy End für Priscilla ❤️ Vielleicht erinnert sich ja noch der ein oder andere an die hübsche Glückskatze, die wir Mitte Januar als Newcomerin gepostet hatten. Priscilla wurde in der Nähe unseres Tierheims ausgesetzt und das clevere Köpfchen suchte selbstständig nach einer Lösung und nach einem warmen Plätzchen, denn eines Tages stand sie vor unserem Tierheim Tor und wollte hereingelassen werden. Durch ihren Instagram Post wurde eine unserer Pflegestellen auf Priscilla aufmerksam und schenkte der 8-jährigen Katze kurzerhand ein Ausreiseticket nach Deutschland! Jak Jak the Cat Cat - No idea how old, but has been part of our family since 2018. He was feral. First trapping, he got away, and the second trapping, he got neutered. Can't believe he stuck around. His besties are Arlo and Reese. Enjoys going on walks with us, and follows me when I'm anywhere outside. Leaves dead everything's at all doors - gophers, snakes, birds, rats, mice, lizards. Has dreadlocks in the summer (long-haired outdoor cat, who rolls in any and all weeds), and gives death stares to come inside in the winter. Matto has been with us for almost 1 month now and he is doing so well. He is allowed out of his enclosure every day when I am with him. He never went further than half a meter from his run. Until yesterday. Yesterday he decided to go on an adventure and went a little further into the meadow. Even though the other animals see him every day, they were now very curious about what that creature in the meadow was. Benthe Fleur was the first to come and have a look and sniff him, not much later Loulou and Froufrou also arrived. These two came closer, stomping their paws. So i was very careful with them. After sniffing and stomping on the ground for a while, it was all right and they continued grazing. Matto himself didn’t care much about it. He walked after me for over an hour, through the entire meadow. You notice that he has some difficulty with the bumps, his hind leg is really not doing that well, so I try to avoid the parts with too many bumps, etc. when he walks through the meadow. Just a few more weeks and then he can walk freely permanently. But first I will take him to the vet again to check his paw. See if nothing more can be done.

𝐙𝐔𝐇𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐔𝐍𝐃/𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐆𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐓 ❤️ NINI ❤️ Nini und ihre Geschwister Nacho und Nandu lebten mit ihrer Mama Namika bei einem kleinen Geschäft hier in der Nähe. Einer unserer Mitarbeiter war gerade dort um etwas zu kaufen, als er drei Kitten sah. Alle hatten sie eine Augeninfektion und waren sehr abgemagert. Für ihn war klar, er muss den Kleinen helfen und versuchte sie einzufangen, um sie mit ins Tierheim zu nehmen. Er holte eine unserer Freiwilligen als Verstärkung bei der Such- und Einfangaktion, bei der sie leider noch ein weiteres, bereits verstorbenes Geschwisterchen fanden. Die Besitzerin des Shops wollte die Kätzchen und ihre Mama zuerst nicht hergeben, sie liebe ihre Katzen ja so sehr... Unsere Grigoreta konnte sie glücklicherweise dann aber doch überzeugen und sie durften die Familie mitnehmen. Nini musste leider ein Auge entfernt werden, das schränkt sie aber nicht wirklich ein! Sie ist das unsicherste von den 3 Kätzchen, lässt sich zwar anfassen und auch hochnehmen, ist aber derzeit noch etwas verunsichert und teilweise ängstlich - wer kann es ihr verübeln! Vor Menschen, die sie noch nicht kennt, neigt sie erst mal dazu wegzulaufen. Das wird sich sicherlich aber bald bessern, wenn sie gelernt hat, dass ihr nun nichts Böses mehr passiert und Menschen auch gut zu ihr sein können. Ansonsten ist sie eine agile und verspielte junge Katze, die nun ein liebevolles Zuhause sucht - gerne auch gemeinsam mit ihren Geschwisterchen! Don't be fooled by these 'friends' Shalow regularly gets hit or scratched, and Zorro blows at him every day. Shalow is so frightened by it that when they have to pass each other, he stops and turns his head away. And every now and then, very rarely, we do get an image like this. An image that is actually pure deception, because Shalow did not realize at first that Zorro was next to him. When I called out for him to look at me for the photo, he saw Zorro and immediately got up. 😓😅
