Las atrocidades que el ser humano es capaz de hacer me parten el corazón, a veces simplemente me es complicado seguir teniéndonos fe. 7 beautiful girls liberated from a caged egg farm. We saw so many broken, sick and scared individuals but these were also some of the strongest hens I have come across! From the moment we began their journey out of the hell hole and into their life of freedom they already showed their bold and strong personalities. They have had all of their rights stripped from them and they have endured so much, some of which have not even survived their new life due to being riddled with diseases and cancer which is so devastating. Imagine being alone in a cage, no proper bedding, surrounded by cobwebs, faeces, maggots, without adequate nutrition, love or care, in a cold shed WHILE you are riddled with cancer and feeling so sick. I want to stress that I have also seen the same conditions in RSPCA approved free range farms, in backyard breeder farms and in parent farms. BABY💕 this beautiful boy. He was returned after being adopted In February. All the work I put into him prior to adoption gone as he was returned skinnier and even more traumatized. When he originally came here had suffered severe head and neck trauma. When returned his panic and fear was through the roof, unbearable to witness. Fight or flight was in full effect. It’s mind blowing to me the monsters that walk amongst us. How anyone can harm any innocent life yet alone a tiny 5 pound dog. He will need a truly kind adopter and one that understands rescue and chihuahuas. An adopter that respects all the trauma this little life has experienced and all the tossing around. He would be an amazing only dog so he gets all the one and one attention and no jealousy. No small kids as it’s hard enough to even trust grown adults nowadays. He’s a handsome, sweet, young, tiny boy that’s been physically hurt and that’s something the new adopter needs to understand. He needs time, love, a nice home and a gentle adopter. He loves the backyard and he loves to walk and go in the car. He loves car rides. He is a great dog that sadly keeps ending up with shit humans that hurt him. Someone was seen dumping a 10 month old puppy in this bush a few days ago. He was dumped with his toy 😢 Thankfully someone spotted this and managed to secure him. He was beyond petrified. When we got him to the shelter, he was scanned for a microchip. Guess what - he had one. This poor puppy was one of our pups that was adopted last year 😡 We cannot post anymore details as of yet as this is now a criminal matter with the police. It is a criminal offense to dump and abandon an animal. What’s more infuriating is that we stipulate in our adoption contracts that our adopted animals must be returned to our shelter if the owner can no longer care for it. The animal cannot be sold or given to anyone else. Period. We invest so much time, money and love into our animals - we only want the best for them. Our animals usually arrive in our care sick, injured or as a result of neglect / abuse. They’ve already been through so much to be ready for adoption and to be abandoned like this is absolutely disgusting. CRITICAL CASE: Dog Chained To A Car And Intentionally Dragged Along Burning Asphalt... We desperately need help with this innocent pup, Jackie, who was tied to a jeep and trailed on the boiling hot Philippines road. This cruelty has caused severe injuries, and we must raise the necessary funds to transport her to a better vet—ASAP. From what we have been told, someone roped Jackie to the back of the car, and the driver was unaware she was there. When they put the gears in motion and drove off, her helpless body thudded and dragged behind the vehicle. At first, she tried to focus all her energy on getting out of the bind she was placed in, but as the car picked up speed, she couldn’t help but scream out in agony. Finally, the driver heard her shouting and stopped. But by then, it was too late. Can you imagine how incredibly painful and terrifying this would have been for her? Just thinking about this makes us sick and heartbroken. Her skin has been torn off her body, and we believe she has multiple broken bones. Today, Jackie was taken to a vet clinic with very limited services. We need to get her moved to our vet—Sargado Animal Clinic in Iloilo—as soon as possible. To do that, our partner rescue, Paraiso Ni Fur Kimay, must travel 8 hours and take a boat to bring her back. Jackie urgently needs a blood transfusion, x-rays, and hospitalization. Right now, we can get basic blood work done, and she is extremely anemic and has an infection. She has been placed on pain medication and given antibiotics, but we must get her to the hospital before it is too late. We need help with transportation costs and initial vetting, and then we can proceed with what treatment she needs. We do not have much time. PLEASE help us help Jackie. Kita is now 4kg and thriving. When she was dumped and placed at the RSPCA shelter she was super light and was in the worst condition. No more infected teeth and mouth. Kennel cough completely gone. We had an X-ray done by vets a couple of months ago that showed a completely shattered / broken tail 😢 We think the abusers have kicked her hard up the bottom. Vets have her on a special kind of injection used for elderly dogs in palliative care. この前たまたま通りかかった道で牛舎を見つけて、思わず車を停めて見に行ってみた。 そこは食肉用の牛さんたちの牛舎だった。 近づく前から鼻をつく酷い匂い。 ハエもたくさん飛んでいる。 牛舎の持ち主のおじさんがいて、見ていっていいよと言ってくれたので少しだけお邪魔した。 そこは劣悪な環境の牛舎だった。 自分たちの糞尿の上で1日を過ごしてるのだろう。 何日も片付けられていないような糞尿の量で、沼のような状態になっていた。 牛が本来食べるべきではない不自然な飼料を食べさせられているからか、便の状態も良くないし酷いにおいがする。 食べるときも寝るときも同じ汚い場所。 汚い地面に横たわってる子がいたけど、全然落ち着けないし安らげないよね。 体も顔も酷く汚れていた。 体に付いた汚れはカピカピになっていた。 糞尿が付いた牧草も食べている。 これじゃ病気や感染症になって当然だし、きっと病気になっても抗生剤や薬を打たれて終わりなんだろうね。 どこか諦めたような覇気のない目で遠くを見つめる子もいる。 子牛たちは好奇心旺盛で、すぐ私のところへ近づいて来た。 触ろうとすると少しびっくりしてたけど、すぐに慣れてくれた。 子牛たちの耳標の個体識別番号から検索すると去年の9月頃に産まれた子たちだった。 牛をこんなに近くで見るのは子どもの頃以来で、すごく新鮮で彼らの息遣いや皮膚の温度を感じることができた。 この子達は確かに生きているんだ。 みんな優しい目をしていて、攻撃してくる子はいない。 人間に歯向かうことのないそんな優しいおとなしい彼ら故に人間の都合良く扱われているんだね。 人間を信頼し、自分たちを裏切るなんてことはしないと思っているんだろうね。 数年前まで自分が食べていたお肉がどこからどのような過程で来たのか、彼らはどんな顔をしていてどんな性格でどんな環境で育ったのか全然分からなかったし知ろうとも思わず、ただ目の前の美味しいものをバカヅラこいて食べて楽しいことだけ考えてた。 ずっと苦しみ続けていたどうぶつ達がいたこと、その存在に気付かずに過ごしていた。 それ以来、後悔と自分を責める毎日だった。 あたなが食べているのは誰ですか？ あなたのお皿の上には誰が乗っていますか？ 社会から隠されたその存在たちが意識を失う直前にはどんな景色が見えたでしょうか？ 何を想って死んでいったのでしょうか。 少し想像してみてほしいんです。 人知れず苦しみ続ける彼らの存在に気付いて下さい。 #牛 #子牛 #焼肉 #和牛 #すき焼き #肉料理 #肉食女子 #牛肉 #牛乳 #cow #babycows #meat #beef #milk #stopanimalabuse #stopeatinganimals #stopanimalslaughter #meatismurder #govegan #goveganfortheanimals
