New Zealand’s southern most rodeo event is happening at Sandy Point this weekend, with an expected crowd of around 3000. Southland Rodeo is part of a southern circuit, following events in Lawrence, Outram, Mataura, Wanaka and Millers Flat, and concluding with Ranfurly at the end of the month. Two generations of #southlanddancers @jadepayette, #southlandballetacademy alumna and now a teacher at SBA is shown here with her daughter Riley, who just completed the #balletrecital! Jade Payette Hendricks received her dance education and training from Ms. #SalwaRizkalla at Southland Ballet Academy from 1992-2004. As a student dancer, she performed in many of @festivalballettheatre's productions including The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake as well various neoclassical works during FBT’s Gala and October contemporary productions. She appeared in American Ballet Theater’s Le Corsaire filmed for PBS in 1999 and The Joffrey Ballet’s The Nutcracker in 1996 and 1998. That's just SOME of Jade's awesome accomplishments as a dancer. She even won @yagp! After graduating from @royalballetschool, she joined @washingtonballet Jade has had quite an impressive professional dance career, but equally impressive is being a MOM! #sbagenerations #ballerinas PC: Skye Schmidt
