Front suspension is now fully assembled. I was originally going for Koni suspension, but apparently they are no longer available?! The rears I bought second hand few years ago. So, I went for some Bilstein B8’s in the front instead. We’ll see how that works out. Everything in the front is new. Rubber, hardware, top mount etc. The old stuff was too far gone. I got lucky 😱😱 i bought the wheels in a spec I knew from other people would fit the #Kodiaq 9 and 10x20" ET 40 front and rear. While working on them yesterday i noticed markings (they were hand made to order back in the day) on them that didn't add up, so I started measuring them. Turns out they are 9,5 and 10,5x20" ET 40 front and ET 45 rear. I’ve been planning/visualising this setup for a few years now and finally it all worked out 😎🤓 The last piece to the puzzle was the adapter ring between the hub and brake disc, which @jesper_tec kindly machined for me! 🥳 Thank you! 👏🤙 The brake disc is from an E30 M3, a Mapco 5x120 hub and a Ford brake caliper. It means that I retain the original wheel offset/geometry, which is cool, and doesn’t need to run brake caliper adapters, which isn’t MOT friendly here where I live.
