This week we were joined by students from Tile Cross Academy on our Sea. Change Foundation Programme⛵ Whilst here, the group had the chance to spend time in our simulator suite. The simulators give students the opportunity to perform training exercises in a variety of scenarios with different types of ships. The yacht is ideally looking for a chief stewardess that is based in Sydney as the yacht will be based 6 months in Sydney and then 6 months in the Whitsunday Islands & maybe from time-to-time in Fiji. The chief stewardess needs to have 2 years’ super yacht experience as chief stewardess or someone that has worked on yachts overseas as a strong 2nd stewardess & is ready to step up to chief stewardess. Need to show longevity in previous stewardess roles. The chief stewardess will need to be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude & a high energy level, as the owners have active grandchildren on board. Must have strong table service & strong eye to detail within the interior. Have strong management skills but be the type of person that can get in there and be hands on as well. You will be working closely with a junior stewardess so need to be a good mentor & supervisor. Must be Australian/New Zealander OR able to legally work in Australia. Preference is given to those that are living within New Zealand and Australia. The yacht will consider candidates overseas however you will need to be prepared to pay for your flight home & must have an Australian working visa. There is a 3-month probation period. 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 • STCW95 (not essential), at least 2-3 experience within the super yacht industry. • Strong table service, strong customer service and have a pleasant demeanour around high profile guests.
