Well, that looks much better, after a rather impressive cracking and explosion 💥 of his rear wheel. A replacement rear rim was required, rather than replacing the whole wheel replacing the rim and spokes seemed the smart call. As the hub is fine. 2 Monate Feldtest Tacky Chan (29x2.35, Super Gravity, UltraSoft): DER neue must-have Gravity-Reifen?➡️Ja und Nein! Ja für alle Könner, die ihr 🚲 aggressiv auf bekannten Strecken mehr oder weniger am Limit bewegen wollen. Nein für alle (Könner und Einsteiger!) die häufig auch auf weniger bekannten Strecken, bzw. mit weicherem Fahrstil unterwegs sind. Begründung: Der Tacky Chan ist ein ziemlicher „point and kill“-Reifen. Bedeutet, dass man sehr präzise und aggressiv den Reifen fahren sollte. Tut/Schafft man das, generiert der Reifen tatsächlich enormen Grip beim Einlenken und in Kurven und bietet sehr viel Kontrolle bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten. Je mehr man von dem Reifen abverlangt, desto mehr bekommt man zurück! Hart und spät bremsen, dann sofort die maximale Schräglage kann der Tacky Chan extrem gut und ist hier dem Magic Mary tatsächlich überlegen. Bremst man dagegen weit in die Kurve rein, und kommt nicht voll in Schräglage, bewegt den Reifen also häufig im Übergangsbereich von Mittel-auf Schulterstollen, kann es sich bei weniger Erfahrung etwas unsicher anfühlen. In dem Fall ist der Magic Mary tatsächlich immernoch überlegen bzw. die bessere Wahl. Fazit: Wer einen Vollgasreifen will und die entsprechende Fahrtechnik mitbringt, der bekommt mehr vom Tacky Chan. Wers dagegen etwas gemütlicher angehen lassen möchte, häufiger in unbekanntem Gelände unterwegs ist, viel Sicherheit und Stabilität in allen Geschwindigkeiten und Situation wünscht oder meist mit weniger Krafteinsatz fährt, der greift besser zum Magic Mary. Wir durften den aktuellen Tacky Chan von @schwalbetires testen🔥 3 Karkassen 2 Gummimischungen 27.5“ & 29“ 2.4“ Der Tacky Chan hat uns voll überzeugt. Neben ausgezeichneter Dämpfung, viel Gegenhalt bei Highspeed und exzellenter Selbstreinigung, bringt er einiges an Bremsgrip mit. Der Pannenschutz ist Schwalbe üblich sehr gut und so hatten wir den gesamten Testzeitraum über keine Probleme mit Defekten.
