OK. First ride on my new @intend_bc Edge (green age). After a lot of exiting and purely positive experience with Formula Selva (S, R, Coil) my expectations were not very optimistic: could the Intend Edge be at least as good as Formula Selva Coil with Blue CTS? . Short answer is yet, Edge is as good as Selva Coil. Sure, the initial setup might be not 100% perfect, but the first impression is the most accurate. Edge is like a Manitou Dorado Pro with the side-to-side torsional stiffness on par with the Selva and Lyrik (surprise MFs) 😂. So it’s like a DH fork: it performs as a DH fork, it feels like Dorado/Boxxer combo. It’s just as good as Cornelius and André described it in DM (thanks guys for your support). Would be super cool to try the new Travelizer air spring and the updated compression assembly and shim-stack. . While I’m waiting for the Rulezman RIFLES carbon leg guards to arrive, I just created a temporary solution in Sharpr3D (mine are not perfect, but they are damn near perfect and 120 g heavy) and they are really nice. . 🇷🇺 И вот и первый выкат Intend Edge (модель 2023 года / Green age). E quest’anno ci riproviamo!!! Ma in modalità coppia!!! @albertotesi84 ci siamo conosciuti nel 2021 alla mia prima gara all’isola d’Elba così per caso… nemmeno sapevo come funzionasse il giochino e da poco mi ero messo in sella… ma il caso ha voluto che ci trovassimo a bere la sera insieme 🤣 e da lì ti ho sempre seguito con grande stima, tra salite a farci svenare, schianti presi, giornate nei boschi a prepararci i sentieri e un bordello di risate… siamo sempre qua a dargli del gasse!!! Prima gara in coppia insieme, 4’ posto che un po’ fa bruciare perché soprattutto nell’ultima PS ho dovuto cedere alla stanchezza per non prenderla secca 😅 ci siamo divertiti un botto, riso e scherzato fino all’arrivo nonostante il risultato un po’ amaro… ma rifarei altre 1000 di gare come questa perchè siamo partiti per divertirci, ci siamo buttati via dalle risate, e abbiamo finito con un gran sorriso e qualche birra 😉 questa è per me la bici, amicizia, passione e ricordi bellissimi che porterò con me sempre! Получились несколько тяжелее, чем у Rulezman, зато они уже установлены, а детище Rulezman еще даже из Германии не выехало. Всех, кто заметил прекрасную форму гидры в форме буквы «Зю» просьба не переживать — ноги с гидрой «ездят» вверх-вниз вместе, потому на гидру это никак не влияет. @cascade_components very upset. This horrible sound that happens in the second part of the travel is directly related to the link. After spending the full day, rebuilding the whole bike, replacing different components, taking off the brakes, derailleur, chainring, saddle, testing three different shocks (all are brand new or after the service), but the awful sound remained. Beside the sound there’s an audible knock that resonates across the frame, but is located closer to the link. . I filed off some material around the seatstays on the link as mentioned in a number of reviews, triple checked the frame contact with and without the shock — everything is fine, no marks, no scratches. All of the bearings are fine, bushings are new (tested two sets). Everything is torqued according to manufacture recommendations and your video manual. . After all these ritual dances I have installed the stock link and the sound have disappeared! . What I like about the Intend is that the fork is the one big masterpiece in almost every detail, starting from the chassis itself, and up to these tiny things like postmount adapter on the two bolts.
