This unique art form offers a way to craft one-of-a-kind designs that are sure to captivate your mind! We invite you to join us on an artistic journey that promises to be as educational as it is fun. Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that has artists create a ‘mono’ or single print. This technique allows the artist to be spontaneous, creative, and original. Each monoprint is unique, and the beauty of this art form is that no two prints are the same. The process is simple – a design is painted onto a surface and then transferred onto paper, leaving a print of the design. The remaining paint can be wiped away, leaving a clean surface for the next design. Our monoprinting workshop is open to everyone, regardless of art experience or skill level. Our experienced instructor, Claire, will guide you through the process, teaching you the techniques and skills you need to create your own monoprint masterpiece. And the best part? You can drop the kids off and run to the shops or stay and have a coffee while the kiddies get creative.
