Cam, Steve and Brian from @boycegoulburn recently met up outside of work to tackle a 12km, 4 hour hike. The three arrived early at @the_midge_tallong to grab a coffee and snacks before making their way to Badgerys lookout to check out the view, and prepare for the trek ahead. The lads then headed to Long Point Road, Tallong, to start their journey. They ventured first to McCallums Flat, a winding goat track which meets up with the Shoalhaven River and then headed upstream towards Bungonia Gorge before turning around for the return trip. Today we helped mum wash these bottle lids about 3weeks ago she decided jump on board and start helping #lidsforkids #goulburn sector after seeing a post from our local shop @the_midge_tallong after all We are #tallonghounds So mum said challenge accepted- being a chef and access to Lots of lids in this time she s collected over 1000 lids she says she only counted 1 bucket it had 490 so she figured 2 buckets one bag she s well over 1k! If you'd like to support suss your local area see if any donation points as around 500 lids makes 1 prosthetic hand for a child!!! With a good 14km walk under my belt this afternoon as some fresh air and stress relief needed after all that's happened with Jack I decided walk up to tallong from mine. Unfortunately I came home to a puppy which had worked himself up that much he had 🤢🤮💩 in his crate. Last night we fed and bathed the kids, snuggled them in their jarmies and gowns and buckled them in the ute.
